A bit noisy in the bar area and crowded. We reserved outside seating but the restaurant called and said that was sold out and offered indoors. They weren't sure why that happened!? Or did someone slip them a fifty? Just speculating. Food was great and abundant. I recommend outdoor seating for best experience.

Is one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. Amazing food and incredible atmosphere. I had the chance to meet the mother of the owner and she was so sweet. One of the best authentic Italian restaurants you can find. When I am back in town we will definitely be back.

Unfortunately our veal chop was completely over done and shriveled. The waiter was most gracious and offered an alternative which at that point we declined. The cost was of course removed from the bill, but it wasn't as pleasant a meal as we have experienced in the past.

This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants. I love the ambience and the food is outstanding! The best part is the chopped tomatoes that are served at the beginning of your meal! Fabulous

This is my husband's favorite restaurant. It starts with the bruschetta with the most flavorful tomatoes any time of the year. All the bread is yummy. We always choose the same food. We have baked clams and sop up the extra sauce with the bread. Then entrees are langostinas, never seen on any other menu, with angel hair pasta. Spectacular!!! Wine list is extensive. All of this goodness comes with a price tag but when you are happy that is ok. Excellent service as well.
Was not fantastic .. they made us wait a extra 30 minutes even with a confirmed reservation. & the food was ok .. the dish I got was mostly loaded with clams & just fair & a bit pricey for what you get .. wouldn't run back that fast for pasta & clams & other than that the service was decent .

Horrendous! Do not dine here! Too many options in the area! Left in the middle of my dimmer and walked down tithe street to Mia Rosebud! A Chicago joint in Boca! 50 years in business for a reason! Food and service was phenomenal! Trattoria Romano you better get you're act together now that a Chicago heavyweight is in town!!

We had a super dinner here. It's an experience, worth the trip. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable. They genuinely want you to have a great experience while you're there. It's not cheap, but it's worth it! It can get crowded, get a reservation, use the free valet parking. You'll be happy you came.
We travel to trattoria romano as often as we can bringing new people each time. the quality of the restaurant in as consistent as the sun rising. great service, great food, and a car wash(you have to pay for it lol). the best restaurant in southern florida

The table was ready. The waiter was very professional. OMG the eggplant pie was amazing. I have never tasted anything like that before and it was delicious. Portions were very generous. They give you bread and tomatoes when you first sit down. It's hard not to fill up because it was so tasty. My only problem is that I am on vacation and it is too far from me. We sat outside and it was very comfortable. They have valet parking but we parked on the street

Two frutti di Mara dinners' shrimp & lobster were overcooked. The mussels were minuscule. The clams, calamari, & octopus were delicious. I've had this dish several times here, but this was disappointing. The waiter was excellent. I would like to strongly suggest that the food servers/runners/assistants use their left hand when serving & removing items from the left side of the guest & right hand from the right side. This prevents the hand & arm from reaching across the guest's face & body. Also, someone didn't realize they dropped a clear kitchen or serving glove on my back. This is the first bad evening I've ever had here. I want you to know that when I'm asked who has the best Italian food in this area, I always say Trattoria Romano. Last night was an uneven experience. I'm only speaking for two people at the table. The other three guests said their food was excellent.

I go to Trattoria Romana fairly often and love it. Last night I had my usual, seafood salad and it never disappoints! My husband had lobster and pasta. His pasta was not as good as it usually is, it was hard, almost stale. We like our pasta al dente but this was weird......I still ate it, lol. But I give them 5 stars, one of my favs!

Taste buds delighted with every bite. We have been loyal patrons for decades and somehow the food gets better every time. The monster meatball appetizer was the bomb! The chocolate moose cake dessert blew our socka off. Accolades all around. Watching the parade of Bentleys at valet parking drop off could be its own reality tv show! Make sure to get a reservation early, the cat is out of the bag on this world class trattoria.
