A phenomenal dining experience. I couldn't be more pleased. Food was excellent and presentation was perfect. Great service and absolutely stunning atmosphere. You could not ask for more!

I found hair and plastic trash in multiple times in my food and I said to the chef but apparently he didn’t take my opinion, I was a nightmare to work in this place, very racist people specially Maureen the manager, they took advantage of me because I was a temporary legal worker however they didn’t honor the contract.Don’t go to work there if you are reading this

If you reading this they have rats in the kitchen, the managers are mean people and racist with workers from out of country They didn't honor the contract, after I complained they made my life miserable, they reduced my hours from 32 to 28 and I only worked to pay them rent. The oppression was so hard that we had to change the job because even the hotel owner ignored everything that happened to us because everything was a racist issue and we were defending our rights. Maureen was one of the means person who treated us bad.Don't come to this place to work and be safe from this people.

When you get to the Lodge it feels like old Florida. The staff is awesome, rooms are clean, and it's quiet.Food & drinks: The restaurant is run perfect and the food to die for.

This is our go to spot. Service is above average. Great food, large menu selection. Need reservations to avoid frustrations. Some days they get busy. Great out of the way location.

Fabulous Service by our server, Jennifer made a hectic setting extremely enjoyable. You step on to this breath-taking island amongst a flurry of activity of others who've disembarked simultaneously to lunch and explore during a set, albeit limited time frame. More hustle-bustle than you're hoping for but the staff makes it work well with their lower 'deck' bar for refreshments while waiting for a table, not to mention ample patio seating as well as live entertainment outdoors while you wait. We were able to wander a bit, quite nearby, acknowledging the ospreys, herons, egrets, a gopher turtle and a myriad of botanical delights, while sipping a cool drink. Soon enough it was our turn for a table as our name/party count had been provided by our ship's captain prior to arrival. This is where our server, Jennifer swept in and absolutely made our day with her spectacular and professional abilities. She is a keeper! Loved her suggestions and she checked back during our meal periodically, despite having a very full plate, indeed. Of course, we couldn't leave without being 'cheesy' and partaking in the ever-popular Cheeseburger (in Paradise). WOW! There's simply nothing more to say. No possible improvements. We could not have been in better hands, all the way around. I'm a native Floridian and while I have all sorts of choices throughout the state I take visitors to, this will always remain a favorite, particularly with service of this nature.

Unfortunately last night was the final decision to take Tarpon Lodge off of our list. This has been our fave for a long time and it's just gone down hill. Service....horrible! Drinks, food, it takes forever! We sat down and it took forever to get our order and then it took forever for them to bring them. The bread, the salad.....forever. So the last time we were there two weeks ago, the food was still so good! Unfortunately the food was really bad this time. Scallops not cooked, pork overcooked and the pasta with shrimp and scallops, it had no scallops. So sorry to see this one go down the drain.

We have dined here many times; having found it a few years ago as we are from Maine. The atmosphere, food, service, and feeling of stepping back in time make dining here a memorable experience. We brought visitors from Maine and, like us, loved the experience. We'll be back soon!

What a wonderful gem on the shores of pine island. Absolutely beautiful! We did not stay at the lodge because we live in the area. The food was excellent and the service is exceptional! Will definitely be going back!

Me and my wife were celebrating our 1st anniversary and this place came highly recommended. Our reservation was at 8:00 so we arrived about 45 minutes early to watch the sunset and it was a spectacular view. Then we sat down only about 2 minutes after check in and had our best meal in a long time. They gave us a free dessert for our anniversary and it was also delicious. Great view, great atmosphere and highly recommended.

We celebrated a birthday. The triple tail was excellent. We sat outside. It was a beautiful evening. Fans could have been turned lower. But, otherwise things were wonderful. Our server was new but, handled the table well.

Fish of the day was triple tail and it was cooked to perfection. Service was excellent. Tiramisu was great.

It's a shame that the service was not up to par and that when our food arrived, portions were cold.. Took way to long for our wine and deserts.. The hostess was very nice as was the bus girl, Abby. They should be commended.. Overall, not sure we would go out of our way to go there again..
