I'm sorry for the lower rating and will explain Our server was very kind and attentive Our food was delicious Hostess staff was nice and welcoming We were stunned however by the older man busing tables at the end of our dinner. He literally removed our wine before finished and came back and grabbed our water glasses. Then he announced you were closed and proceeded to pull the table linens. We basically were being thrown out. It was horrible. Many patrons leaving had the same experience. We have never been treated like that there or anywhere else. It was very disappointing.
Menu has poor selection of wine now. Portions seem to be smaller than normal. Less variety on food as well, menu much smaller. Veal was very dry. Was told new owner. Used to be our favorite place.

We have been going to DeRomos for many years and were usually satisfied, but this time the service and very slow and spotty. They didn't know simple answers to questions about the menu. Dropped some of the food on the table when serving it and picked it up to put back on the plate to serve it. Saw it was inappropriate and then took a vey long time to come back with a replacement.

Saturday night at 5:30 you were out of Fiochhi and Bone in Veal Chop , during Spring Break !!!?!?? Inexcusable !!! Lasagna was all meat , totally different Than we've ever had there before , and wasn't very good ! First time we've been so disappointed in De Romos !!

Our waiter was in a rush from the moment we were seated. He wanted us to order before he had gotten our drinks. It seemed he was in a great hurry for us to order. The food was not hot when we received it. In the past we have had very good experiences but a return visit is not in our future.

Don't order a breakfast sandwich unless you want it for lunch.My order went to a third party by admission-after waiting 20 minutes, and no sandwhich, asked for money back from manager, cool response and no sign of an apology, stick to coffee.

Wenhave had hit and miss experiences at DeRomos. Food quality ranges from decent to excellent. Service from good to deplorable. Oue March 16th experience was mediocre food and deplorable service. Our server was inattentive and arrogant. He tried to correct my pronunciation of bruschetta yet didn't know limes from lemons, literally. My wife ordered two tonic waters with limes and got lemons both times. I tried to get his attention but he avoided eye contact. I went to the bar and asked if the really didn't have limes! I got limes. My wife went back with a friend the next day to see if it was an aberration. It was equally disappointing. A place fully capable pf delivering impeccable meal experience is just unreliable and unpredictable.

Love the ambiance at DeRomo's, as well as their food which is always delicious. The wait staff has always been very pleasant and on top of it and accommodating to any special requests. Another great dining experience with family.
The bar service was very good. The wine was very good. The waiter and food service were average. We had Caesar salad and veal piccata. They were average. I would try a different entree next time. The Italian salad looked very good.
We had a drink at the bar before sitting at our reserve table an hour later. Drinks were delicious. Service was tight as there were only three bartenders to service the large bar and the outdoor seating. Service there was still good. We were seated in a timely manner. Our food was served cold and it was very average. Not sure what happened at DeRomo. Rumor has it they sold and maybe that's why the food was not hot and delicious as it used to be. We will try it again, maybe for happy hour drinks, and hors d'oeuvres only.

We had theatre tickets and only had an hour to eat dinner because we had arrived a little later than planned due to traffic. Our waiter, Dean was informed and made every effort to provide us with a dining experience that was not rushed but prompt enough to see us on our way . I want to mention that Dean was pleasant, informative and very efficient. He made what started out as a stressful evening into a very enjoyable experience!
Rachel at the bar was super friendly. Made us great drinks and was warm and welcoming. The lunch portions were big! The food was tasty - pasta fagioli was just like my mom used to make. Only complaint was the food was too fast we hadn't finished our soup when our meal came out. Great atmosphere! Make sure to go to the store - amazing!!! Definitely a do over for us :)
