So, we just moved to Naples from Chicago in November and a coworker told my husband about this restaurant specifically the beef soup they serve on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. We drive up to a very unassuming restaurant in a strip mall. I have to tell you for a Friday night at 7:30 this place was packed. We were greeted and seated by Erica, a very sweet young girl who English was good but still we lacked a little understanding of one another; she excuses herself and comes back with Mario! What an amazing young man he is. He appears to be young but he was managing everything very well and told us the history behind both the Bonita Springs location as well as the one in Ft. MyersWe ordered the nachos which weren’t like anything I’ve ever had. The chiccarones (sp) and beef really made this standout. Unfortunately for us the beef soup was already sold out but Mario suggested the seafood which was fabulous. We were already getting full and he graciously cancelled our dinner entrees without hesitation. He later came by with a “ thank you” gift for us; a sweet bread he said to warm in the morning and have with our coffee. What a class act, with fabulous food and so many options. This is definitely going on the “favorites” list in the number 1 spot. You’ll see us again and again. Can’t wait to bring our Chicago friends. Thank you!
