Short rib ravioli fried was overfried. Special Chilean seabass was too fat flavorless and served only with white rice like chinese restaurant takeout. 8oz steak had no seasoning, no flavor.

Fine dining with prices to match but not quality. We got the catch of the day Chilean Sea Bass which had no flavor. The kids got the steak dinners which were not chewable. The Snapper Diablo was very good. The Floridian salad was very good. Ambiance was great and the staff were pleasant. Just disappointed in the food which was the main reason for visiting.

I normally don't leave reviews but I think they made some changes after the renovation because omg the service was one of the best we've ever experienced! Especially Nicole-- she was just the sweetest and most caring server ever. My mom absolutely loved her attentiveness and quality of service and she kept asking to come back to eat here just for her! The food was surprisingly great honestly!! Really fresh seafood and great flavor. Cocktails were strong and good. Vibes were great. Highly recommend!! Our favorites were the calamari and salmon. They even went out of their way to split the salmon dish for us as they knew we were sharing:)

The restaurant food is mediocre - over seasoned, too many sauces, and not enough fresh vegetables. The prices are very high for the quality of the food. The cocktail menu is filled with only sweet drinks - nothing more sophisticated.

Restaurant was beautiful and food was delicious, but our service started out super slow. We had also put we were celebrating our anniversary in the reservation notes and there was no acknowledgement that we were celebrating anything special which has not been the case in other establishments. Bacon wrapped grouper, snapper Diablo and short rib ravioli were delicious and drinks were strong.

The food was decent but way overpriced. They weren't that busy but it took too long to get drinks and our food took way too long. After paying our bill they brought me a receipt for $30 higher than the one they originally gave me and that took too long to resolve. Not impressed.Parking: Paid $3 per hour just to park to have dinner. Won't do that again.

First off, we've been waiting for 2 hours and still no food! Just refills of drinks and more bread. We haven't had anyone come to our table yet and it's been very annoying having to wait this long just for some food!

The remodeled outdoor space is beautiful, and much better than it was before, now that it is climate controlled. The whole red snapper and the chilean sea bass are absolutely delicious. In particular the snapper was impressively presented, perfect for a special occasion. It was well seasoned and super crispy. The sea bass was melt-in-the-mouth tender and very subtly and exquisitely flavoured. Sue, our server, was so courteous and professional, and really enhanced our dining experience. We've dined here frequently over the years and the quality is still top notch.

Tarpon Bay was once again on their "A" game but that did not surprise me. GM Jonathan has his stuff together. Chef Staff create phenomenal dishes and the servers are always spot on perfect!

Made a reservation for 7:30 around the 3:00. We arrived early and we were immediately seated- our table was ready! The food is always amazing and we don't have to leave the property! Service is top notch! The bread is always fresh and warm. The Snapper Diablo and the whole fried fish were delicious!

Our dinner at Tarpon Bay was a great experience! The cocktails and food were amazing, only to be outdone by our server. Her knowledge of the menu was unlike any I have ever experienced. She made each item sound intriguing & exciting.

Very disappointing as we've had many good meals there over the last 8 years. The catch of the day, Chilean Sea Bass came grilled and it was a good piece of fish. Literally no seasoning on the fish, rice and the asparagus was yellow and limp. There was no sauce as promised. It was nowhere near a $46 entree. Go somewhere else.

I don't know what to say about a restaurant that douses their food creations in salt and sauce. We should have known after reading the menu that most of the entrees would have started out frozen because most had sauces. A sauce (and salt ) can hide a lot of imperfections of previously frozen food. What restaurant would serve bacon wrapped ‘fresh' grouper if it was, in fact, fresh? The lobster was rubbery sitting on a clump of saucy noodles, the jerk chicken was so dry and salty it was inedible. Funny thing is that when the waiter came to remove our dishes he didn't say one word about the uneaten food left. The chicken meal had 98% of the chicken on it, potatoes and carrots on plate, too. He must be used to it. Plus, here is another tip if you are interested in knowing if the food you are about to consume was previously frozen - the waiter took our appetizer order but didn't ask for the main course. He came back after bringing the appetizer and then took our order. That can only indicate that most of the food - including all veggies etc. are premade and can be quickly heated and plated. All we can say is - YUK!!! I could have stayed home and microwaved a meal for us all too! (Pricing is at 5star level - ha!!, Should be 1star - ) We were truly insulted!!
