For a small lunch meeting, we chose a selection of desserts and one soup and sandwich combo. The chicken noodle soup was similar to half a Styrofoam coffee cup and contained a revolting reddish brown liquid that was somehow a vile mutation of tomato and soy sauce: I doubt a chicken was even dipped into it. No veggies, no herbs, no chicken and after straining out the liquid there were exactly two teaspoons of thin scrawny noodles that resembled nothing so much as decapitated overcooked spaghetti fragments. The sandwich half was made from the heels of an oval loaf of wheat bread: small, chewy crust with a quarter-sized morsel of bread in the center. The desserts were visually unappealing and at the first bites fulfilled their promise of being at least a day old, if not more. The chocolate cake portion was dry, the icing equally arid and curiously tasteless. The apple tart was not tart and was identifiable as apple only by the cut shapes on top. The allegedly flaky bottom crust was initially mistaken for a sheet of waxed pastry paper. The plain croissants were 70% acceptable: the layers were not proofed correctly so that lovely flakiness was missing. And the butter used was either poor quality or cut with shortening. The coconut macaroons would break windshields if dropped from a height of two stories. Coconut flavoring, invisible coconut flakes. Just such a disappointment. Tomorrow we're hoping local donuts will redeem the area bakeries!

Great spot and very authentic! We stopped here after we moved, since it always looked busy (good sign). We were not disappointed! Beautiful tarts, croissants, scones, etc. I also had a delicious latte. Highly recommend this spot for breakfast or a treat.

Yummy! Oh, the choice! We went for the Hazelnut Success and the Chocolate Hazelnut Tart. And a couple of lattes. Then we also discovered the croissants.

We had the tassot cabrit, griot, and the lalo and spinach. Everything was fresh, tasted great, and was prepared quickly. Will definitely be going back.

Best breakfast crossiants ever. Lived the large dessert selection. We went a couple of times while on vacation. Lived in Europe and these desserts were very close to the real thing.

It's been a while since I've been back. Have been somewhat of a regular and yes, I ate there with all the plastic hanging around each table but I commend Vasken Palanjian putting his customers and employees FIRST when it came to COVID safety. The cappuccino is the best and the Chocolate and hazelnut susses are my favorite. Today I ordered a French Bred Muffuletta, something new at Bon Appetit. Don't worry about some snobby french person giving their critique, it's typical of some of the French people. Note I said "some" because they're not all like that, some actually have taste and respect. FIVE stars for this French Bakery for sure! I thanked the staff for working and gave them an EXTRA tip!

Being French and a lover of French patisseries, I was over the moon to have found this hidden gem!! The croissants - almonds, plain, chocolate and even savory ones (the spinach and feta are a treat) are amazing. The macaroons and other cakes just look delicious (and sure are also tasty!!). For sure the plastic sheets are not the best for eating in but in a pandemic, they are obviously health conscious - and it is a good thing!! Then again, you can always order and take it away. Allez-y! You will love it too!!

I have lived in Europe, traveled extensively in the US, and Bon Appétit is closer to a real European cafe than any US coffee shop I've seen in a while. We had a double-espresso, a cappuccino, and split a chocolate croissant. The espresso was excellent with none of the bitterness you typically get from an espresso in the US and the croissant was really really good. Definitely take them up on their offer to warm it up! The baristas and servers were extremely knowledgeable, polite, and professional and the service was very quick. Also, they were very COVID conscious with all the employees wearing masks, the inside was sectioned off with magnetized plastic sheets, and the whole place felt very clean.

We arrived at 2 knowing that they closed at 3. When we walked I. We’re greeted by a friendly worker who asked if we’re there for lunch. We replied yes, and she told us to have a seat and they’d bring out menus. Another worker came by and said we needed to order at the counter. I told her that the lady up front had told us to have a seat. She told us that they were. Or serving lunch anymore. She then went over to another worker to discuss the mixup. Honestly - it was a bit embarrassing the way they were a acting. Seriously- we arrived an hour before closing for sandwiches. We were let asking for anything special, but we felt extremely unwelcome. We ended up just ordering a few desserts to go. We won’t be back.

Do NOT go expecting to eat at at cute little bakery. This place is set up like a quarantined hospital ward! There is plastic sheeting up everywhere separating every table. It is hysterical/depressing/ridiculous. Not to mention that they are serving at a lower capacity, so it’s always “full” so don’t expect to be able to order any food. It’s just pure insanity. What a disappointment.
