We visited Guarapo's twice. It is a dog friendly restaurant with excellent food and margaritas. The black beans and garlic shrimp and plantains were excellent, but so was their beef steak sandwich. Had to have the beans twice! For us seniors, the portions were plentiful enough for sharing.

This restaurant is absolutely amazing! The food was the best thing I've ever eaten! We got it very quickly and it was so warm and delicious! I definitely will come back the next time I'm in town!
Continue to come here year after year and the food is consistently really good. Nice size portions and reasonable in price. Waitress staff welcoming and prompt. Excellent place to dine. Easy to get a table and to park.
Very disappointing experience. Atmosphere was very sad, looks like the restaurant had a good ambience years ago, but definitely not now. On a Friday night it was half empty.We ordered sangria to start with, but the portion was so ridiculous that you could literally be done with a glass with 4 gulps.Although service was good and the waiter brought us food super fast, the presentation and taste were not good at all.We ordered croquetas, which came in an order of 3, decorated with 3 sad pieces of lettuce.We also had the fried yucca, which was probably the only decent course we had.I ordered Picadillo for my entree, and I do not exaggerate when I said that it tasted like canned dog food, I could not bear to swallow it.Needless to say, I will not be coming back.
