Checked out Kanji for the first time a couple weeks ago… and it will be my last time. As someone that loves ramen, I’m sorry to say that I did not enjoy the food at all. I did a takeout order of the Supreme Tonkotsu Ramen, a Bao Bun, and Lavender Boba Tea. The boba tea was enjoyable, but the ramen virtually had no flavor and the bun was just okay. The atmosphere of the restaurant seemed nice and the staff was friendly, but the food just no good. Seeing all of the high rated reviews, I don’t know if my bowl was a dud or what, but I’m not going to chance again spending my money on high priced food that comes off as mediocre at best.

I picked up a poke bowl from kanji last nite for dinner hoping to make it my go to place for salady meal. What I got was two small piles of Luke warm tuna and salmon on sweet tasting rice, 3 slices of cucumber, and 6 or 7 small cocktail tomatoes. When I requested separate sauce they looked at me like I was from outer space. Finally we settled on 2 that were almost almost the same. I was trying to think of wasabi to get a sauce similar but when I asked them they said it wasn't a suischi place. I didn't want mango or edename in my poke so I requested that. That seemed to eliminate all other vegetables. They didn't tell me it came with avocado or anything else. I put a pamphlet in the bag but after they took out the edename they had put in the pamphlet was gone. So who knows what I missed. They almost let me walk out without paying but I reminded them. All in all a very amateur poke experience without any adventurous tastes. This I could have made myself at home and had icy cold fish.

I asked my son out to lunch and he picked this restaurant ( I had never been here before) What a lovely surprise! This was right by my house on Boynton Beach boulevard and Jog, But I had no idea they were even open! The interior has such adorable Japanese decor, and everywhere you look there's something else to see, even the Japanese comics on the ceiling! My son had been here once before and said it was the most incredible food, so I was excited. They seemed a little short-staffed as far as servers go, but there was a QR code to order on the table. The server got to us first. We started with a pork belly bao bun appetizer, then I designed my own poke bowl for lunch, and my son had the tonkotsu ramen. The food came out pretty quickly, and was so divine! That pork belly was so perfectly cooked, and was served on the fluffy little buns with some lettuce and a spicy mayo. I loved my poke bowl , but then again I did design it. Lol I was surprised on how much fish they actually put into their bowls! My son's ramen looked like a masterpiece! We are big fans of ramen so it's hard to impress him, but he said it's the best ramen he's ever had. I tasted the broth and it was very flavorful! Afterwards, my son ordered a boba tea to go, and he said it was really good. Between the whimsical decor, and the flavorful food, I definitely will be returning to Kanji Noodle bar in the near future!

Kanji was a super cute little restaurant with lots of indoor and outdoor seating. The decor was fun and there were a variety of things to look at/take pictures of and overall aesthetically pleasing. I loved the set up of the restaurant, you didn't feel crowded with the seating even when it started getting busier. When I first got the menu, I was super excited to see the pictures so I know exactly what to expect. I am a vegetarian, so I was limited in my options however, still happy to have a few options to choose from, most of which were appetizers. The friends that joined me, eat meat and had a hard time narrowing down what to order because everything looked and sounded good from the menu. The food was good, a good portion size for the price. However, I was expecting a bit more flavor, and my friends had similar thoughts regarding their dishes. I would go back if I was craving ramen or boba, due to the friendly staff and portion/price.

This place is amazing. I love eating ramen everywhere I can and I can say that this is top 3 of all time across the globe. Other dishes were excellent and I can’t recommend this place enough, it’s amazing. Give it a try and you will love it.

What a great restaurant! The server was very attentive and quick, and always checked up on us!Drinks: we got the Thai tea and honeydew milk teas and they were delicious!Appetizers: we got the steamed pork gyoza which was amazing with the chili oil on the table. We also got the pork and chicken bao buns. Both were amazing but the chicken was so crispy and tasted incredible! Definitely recommend!Entrees: we got the r7 shiroku ramen and added gyoza to it. The broth was so yummy and the noodles are the perfect consistency. We also got a make your own poke bowl which was so fresh and a very good portion size! Both are highly recommended!It was our first time here and we will for sure be back!Thank you!

Wonderful food and service. Japanese and Anime themed. Awesome teas too. I got the Japanese Chicken Curry it's freshly made so it takes a little extra time but so worth it if you like curry. Great menu items. The Ramen is delicious. Oh and the teas are so yummy. They offer bubba (regular or popping) you can also request not to have any as well. Check them out
We’ve ordered take out a few times and so far they’ve been on point! The Ramen is delicious and the portions are great. The restaurant is always clean and the staff is very friendly!
this place is so amazing!! i LOVE the build your own poké bowls—it’s a great bang for your buck and super customizable :) I got the white rice, spicy salmon, chicken teriyaki, practically all of the vegetables, topped with sesame seeds.

Honestly our 1st & last time here. The food wasn’t as great as other places we’ve been. The service was below average.We were seated in the back corner of the restaurant and a family of 4 came right behind us. The family of 4 were helped before us and Savanah was kind enough to come over to take our order. During our visit, no one came to check on us to see if we needed anything so we had to stop people passing by to ask for things.The table next to us however had 3 employees tending to them at once and trying to fix whatever issues they were complaining about. Due to lack of space, their bottoms were literally touching our table. Which turned me off from eating more.Now for the food:Pan fried Gyoza: it was average. It wasn’t packed with flavor and needed to be dipped in the soy sauceChicken Bao: it tasted like a McChicken on softer bread. However, it did not have much meat. (See attached video)Chicken teriyaki: there was no teriyaki, Meat was dry and the rice was pastyCreate your own Poke bowl: it was enjoyable. It would’ve been easier to enjoy is the bowl was bigger in width than depth
