I was born and raised in New York and this place is literally like a piece of me. The food is amazing always fresh soup is always amazing you get a soup or a salad for every meal what you get. The calamari is unbelievable not to breaded nice pieces of calamari they also have tentacles. The wings are very crispy and nice. The pasta is fresh the meat is fresh everything here is just unbelievable. If you like pasta if you like a nice environment if you like family style big Pizza, pasta, apps And come to this place. It's a hidden gem and should be cherished and every seat right now should be feeling so come check it out.

i've been going to this restaurant since it opened around 12 years ago as a little girl with my family. Now that i can drive and take myself here i'm here SO often. best wings in town (get mild garlic trust me), AMAZING antipasto salad, and recently discovered the queensbrough salad which i now crave daily. love the ambiance here as well as the decor. staff is always family friendly and so kind. COME HERE !!!

I'm not a pizza gourmet and frankly I like Domino's quite a bit. But we were with a group a few weeks back and went to NYPD. Wife and I shared an 18" meat lovers pizza that was really great. Lots of meat, (pepperoni, ham, meat ball) and the crust was thin and very tasty. The gal dong the serving was very much on the ball and just about everyone got served at once. Would definitely go back. Oh, pizza was big enough that we still had three slices to take home as wife had two and I had three.

Do not let the name or the pics fool you! This is not an authentic NY style pizza place. Im sure there may be people in the area who like it , but for me I have to say I didnt because i expected it to be a lot more NY like than it was . The pizza , the pepperoni, all of it , was just mediocre . Look elsewhere if you have a choice.

They are stingy with their chicken they advertise the salad serves 2 people yet they put 2oz of chicken in them and that is not enough for 2 people! This is cutting corners and being cheap!! Don’t go there

I called to place an order- they raised their prices TEN DOLLARS PER MEAL. I laughed hysterically when she told me it's $24 for eggplant parm but according to their website it's $14. What a joke. She goes "we raised our prices last week" I said "by ten dollars????" And she said yes. I couldn't contain my laughter. Never would I ever go here for average food and charging like it's finer dinning lmao

This is the worst place !!! Most standard chicken breast is 4oz and they sell big salads that say feed 2 people but they only give u 2.8 oz of chicken! How does that go across 2 people!! They suck and don't ever go there

This place is amazing!! I mean, WOW! My family is from New Jersey and we are very picky about our pizza and subs, and NYPD gets is so right!! We have been here several times now and it has been perfect every time! The pizza is delicious and the subs are wonderful too! You will be very impressed with this restaurant, and the staff is very friendly too!

We've been going to NYPD now for two years for pizza and it's been fairly consistent. Unfortunately we ordered chicken parm and Marsala last time and it was over cooked and dry. The worst part was that we found a coupon to pay cash for the dinners on the website and they wouldn't honor the price as advertised. This really put a sour taste in my mouth and we may not be back.

When we lived up the road from here, we ordered all of the time. The salads are plentiful, the pizza is true New York style and the bread is good as well. Good for a family night or a get together! Or just a couples night. I recommend!

What happened?!? Loved your food but quality is changing. 1. Cheese steaks are the best around but the amount of meat fills only one side of the sandwich. Sandwich cost about $10 & had about 50 cents of meat on it. I'm not cheap but your chef was. 2. Ordered the house special pizza and ended up with TONS of peppers on it, minimal amount of other items. If I wanted a pizza with peppers only, that's what I would have ordered. First time in forever that I did not like eating pizza!!! 3. The sausage on the house special pizza had it's casing still on it and a thick cut with a strange chew. There were a few slices of it on that pizza, maybe eight slices. I don't remember that the last time I ordered the same pizza. First time in forever that I did not like eating pizza!!! Taking a break from NYPD for awhile and will try other pizzerias. There is a lot of competition out there & they will do what should be done to keep their customers. Get the quality back to where it used to be.
