The fried rice and veggies are amazing! Sadly the filet mignon isn't that great. It tastes like just any other meat since it's not really basted with garlic and butter but I should expect that since it's on a griddle. Shrimp was okay too and the calamari was okay.

My first time coming to Florida, I stopped by Sushi Saito's janpenes Steak house restaurant. The fish sashimi is fresh and delicious. The sushi is delicious. The service is good. The staff is cheerful and the space is beautiful.

Very disappointed in tonight's dinner here. My first time being at this restaurant new to Florida and expected a good experience due to a native friends recommendation. As the chef is giving my friend the extra fried rice she PAID for, the other patron asked to try it and the chef gave her the fried rice when she asked for white rice. The chef gave us little to no food in our portions opposed to the other patron and her 2 teenagers. My friend who recommended this place was so upset she couldn't even eat her food. I spoke with the manager and she said she'd give us 10% off because we already packed our food to go. She didn't even give us the 10% off. I will NEVER return here. Horrible service. The ambiance was giving white privilege during Black History Month. What a shame.

Unfortunately, we had a bad experience. Sushi and sashimi were good, but chef was limited in his skills: not much of a show; vegetables tasted like old fish; chicken overcooked; all beef well done when medium rare was requested; shrimp was fresh but it was a bonus shared with everyone at the table because chef forgot that one person in particular had actually ordered shrimp and didn't get it; rice with egg cost extra (expected) but it was shared with others outside our party who hadn't paid for it. Still gave him a generous tip though. Servers and bussers good but felt very rushed. Automatic 18% tip added to bill. When we tried to increase that to 20%, we were charged a 38% tip! It was a challenge to get it corrected. Not an experience we want to repeat.

Coming from the service industry I try to have a higher tolerance and understanding for what can and does go on in a restaurant. We had a party to fill an entire table and was one of the first table sat for dinner. Tip- ask for a menu, ordering off the Covid era board is difficult. The food show was lacking as compared to shows immediately after, food was alright, but I go here for the family not the culinary experience, my water sat empty for half my meal and never got my white rice.

We've been going to Saito's for years - mostly for sushi, but often for hibachi, also, and we've never been disappointed. The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly and helpful - the service is excellent, even on busy nights. We're so fortunate to have a restaurant like this close to us.

the bus boy and the waiter with the slick hair were the nicest people ever but the women there were rude and looked judgement. We told the chef that our friend was allergic to sea food and continued to use the same utensils to mix everyone’s food.
