Used to love this place. Food used to be delicious, now flavorless. Staff used to be kind and inviting. Now just outright trash men. Be warned... last time I went there, bartender overcharged me for an additional appetizer and drinks and then played it off like she didn't realize the bill had so many errors.

Food was good and reasonably priced but nothing out of the ordinary. We had fried pickles (very generous amount) and burgers (handmade). Service was quick although they weren’t busy at the time. Our server was very friendly.

Friendly staff but food is horrible. Went for lunch and the Cuban sandwich was soggy the tots were so greasy that you could have changed the oil in your car. Chicken tenders weren’t much better plus the film on the dips weren’t appetizing at all. Won’t go there again.

Shout out to Dez! And the entire team. I absolutely loved my Cuban sandwich and my husband thought his burger was excellent. Great drinks and atmosphere. Almost didn't want to do a review. Better to keep this gem a secret!!

We stopped in for beer and pub grub. Thankfully, they serve domestic bottled beers and not solely craft beers, which is becoming a real thing these days at some pubs and bars. We really enjoyed the appetizers we ordered. We were happy to find on the menu what I refer to as, Classic Nachos. They are made the way nachos were made when they first became a pub grub favorite. The Tatter Tots were really good. And, the blue cheese dressing that came with the Buffalo Wings was delicious. The staff was friendly and attentive. We played our favorite songs on the juke box, which can be controlled using the TouchTunes App without having to leave your seat. This is a must-do when in Historic Bradenton.

We love this local spot. The new owners changed the food for the better, and the new staff is awesome! Erin and Lindsay rock the house!! The food is NEVER a disappointment, and they have the best burger in town! I love that they offer tater tots for a side, and more than one of my favorite IPA’s, which are two rare things. We always feel welcome, and we always have a good time.

Awesome atmosphere and amazing food. Definitely will be going back for the delicious food and great drinks. The bartender Miranda provided exceptional service on the busy Saturday afternoon and the bus boy Tommy entertained my kids while I ate. Glad I found this nice family friendly spot.
The food was pretty good (even though they mixed my wing sauces) but the bartender was sick. I don't remember her name but clearly she was sick and she even talked about sick right in front of us. I was going to let this fly unless I got sick and here I am with a sore throat. My buddy has one too. And worst part is we travel for work and being sick is not good for that. Thanks for the Bad A** Cough.

As new Florida residents, my family and I were unsure about where the best local food spots were. Stumbling upon The Bad A** Cafe, we found exactly what we were looking for. Our waitress, Miranda, was absolutely fantastic and extremely welcoming and accommodating to our two pets offering them treats and water. The food and drinks we ordered were excellent. You feel right at home at home here.

My fiancé and I went to this place for the first time and sat at the bar for a late lunch. He got the Cuban Sandwich and the portion was big. He loved his sandwich. I got the Spicy Shrimp Wrap and it was very good. The bartender (Miranda) was particularly kind and engaging. She was fun and endearing and deserves praise for her wonderful service. We will definitely be back.

We very much enjoyed dinner here while in Bradenton. The fattening food was great though the salads were just okay. The Bloody Mary was good and they have a fabulous spread of things to add to the Bloody Mary. The wall signs are hysterical and it's definitely a laid back, hole in the wall type place. The fried chicken tenders were over cooked, but the fried pickles were just right.

Been eating here for years. New ownership has caused service to go downhill. I never leave negative reviews, daughter is a server, I get things happen and staff is sometimes short. But Saturday I went to eat. Sat down at the bar. Girl working finally spoke to us after 10 minutes or so. Said she'd be back with menus and to get us drinks. She then took drinks outside, came inside and went to the jukebox to play music. She then went behind the bar and started singing/dancing. Walked to the end of the bar and leaned over to talk to 4 men who were sitting there. She never came back or spoke to us so after 20 minutes we got up and left. Ridiculous service. The place will never survive with such bad service. Sad to see after so many good years of food and service.
