I ordered take out last night and it was probably one of the worst BBQ I have had since I moved here 25 years ago. We ordered a sampler platter which had pulled pork, brisket and I upgraded an additional $15 for a half rack of meaty baby backs. The pulled pork was dry and fatty, the brisket was all fat and the portions were extremely small for the price. The sides were atrocious, we had the overcooked mushy beans and the sweet potato waffle fries were gross. The overpriced baby backs were the worst because the were definitely not meaty as described, the were dry and over done.Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else.

Just left this place and it was horrific. Food was reheated and cold, brisket was fatty and ribs were not fresh. My wife ordered a buff chicken bowl over mac n cheese and the Mac was ice cold. The waitress was not informative and horrific as well. Do yourself a favor and just stay away! No wonder we were the only people in the restauran.

Below is a picture of $16.99 worth of brisket. Three servers working with 4 tables seated and I had to get up to get a refill on my drink. Overall disappointed.

The food was delicious. The service was excellent. My favorite BBQ place but sad to see it's not being kept up, ripped booths with duck tape, just tacky. Makes it feel dirty. It was a slow period, servers could have been cleaning instead of standing around yakking.

First time ordering from here our chicken was raw. I called them back to be nice and let them know! They were so admitted it was done. I had a restaurant for 19 years Chicken is to temp at 165 and is very dangerous to serve not cooked

This place could be much better than it is with what I am assuming would be better management of product availability and food preparation quality. Food is good but over done in many cases. Wine pours are down to 4oz when 5 is a standard poor and service, although nice, is slow due to lack of staff.

Great food! Our table had some nice smoked wings, pulled pork, and a brisket sandwich. They were all delicious. The brisket was super tender. Lots of sauces at the table to choose from. This is a solid bbq place and we will be back!

We went at lunch time, there was no wait, our server was efficient she seated us promptly and took our order, nice but not really friendly but very efficient she seemed to be sort of focused on regulars at the bar, I had the Fried pickles appetizer (I really liked the pickles, they were crispy, crunchy and not greasy like most fried pickles are, I also really liked their batter, for my entree I had the Texas Nachos the brisket on top of them was really good there just was not very much of it, lots of fries just minimal amount of brisket for "Texas" size( I'm from Texas I should know?) My friend had the pulled pork and smoked chicken with sweet potato fries, everything he had was good, where we lose stars is that it wasn't great, just good. BBQ is expensive no matter where you go in order to keep people coming back it needs to be great, Everything about this dining experience was ok , just nothing really stood out here to earn 5 stars.

You know you got great BBQ when it's so tender that you don't even think about using a knife. And, and, and, it tastes amazing without sauce. I can't believe this place isn't packed out every day. Great job guys!

Staff is dismissive at best, rude at worstFood was okay but I can get okay BBQ just about anywhere. Really wanted to love it, but bar patrons and the staff's friends take up all of the the time attention, leaving anyone their "just to have dinner" treated as an

Bar-b-que restaurants are notorious for serving dried out leftovers from days gone by, which is why I'm very skeptical of this genre of food. Not this place. Carried out brisket, ribs, and chicken....wow! Everything moist and tasty, service was fast and professional. Prices EXTREMELY reasonable- ignore whiny tightwads out here, (That's YOU, Mark G.) and tell them to visit nearby Long John Silvers, which is probably where they go for anniversaries and birthdays anyway. Highly recommended. Only drawback is location, location, location. Hard to find unless you know exactly where it is. They must have ZERO impulse diners there.

Order takeout today. Expensive and poor quality. Very fatty. Ordered two brisket dinners. Specifically requested "lean " cut. The portions were small. The meat was tender but extremely fatty. Roughly 50% of both orders could not be eaten because it was so fatty. Also the slices were thick and more closely resembled prime rib. Isn't brisket normally sliced thin? The two brisket orders (alone) were $45 in total. Expensive especially as they didn't come with any sides. That's right, not a single side.Overall: expensive, fatty, and weird cut. Won't be going back, nor can I recommend.
