Hello. Stop by to ordered pizza and a soup . Disappointing1- pizza was really , really thin and had a lot of flour on the bottom ( i think it will be a lot of better if just a little flour will be mix with cornmeal so the pizza do not stick in the oven). We felt like we just eat flour ( not good ). We moved here from the area with the best pizza in the country ( New Haven , Fairfield Connecticut )2- soup was not good . Felt like it was from the bottom of the soup pot .

I have always envied those who had their own "pizza spot" wether that be with a parental figure or pal. My father had passed on fairly early in my life so, I couldn't ever obtain one with him. Right when this place opened up I went to grab a slice with my buddy on his electric scooter, we were 14. I was too young to appreciate a good slice like I do now but nonetheless it was still excellent in my teenage mind. Around 2 years ago my neighbor was moving houses and he needed "strong young men" to help move things. I had just got the keys to my grandfathers pass down truck so I was in a perfect position to fulfill his needs. He told me to bring a friend. I decided on bringing my buddy Andrew to help out. We had always had that special friendship of which differed from the others in our friend group. When we were half way through the day helping out, I decided to bring him to Cafe Amalfi as we were craving pizza. Thanks to my memory of the place, we had the best pizza we have ever eaten. The very next day during the move, we once again, had the amazing pizza. Over the same year, we occasionally went back to devour a whole pie. My neighbor had to move once again the following year, that meant more pizza. High school graduation is coming up and we have always dreamt of going to college together but, it doesn't seem like that's going to work out. Though, perhaps during breaks and such we can enjoy a pie together once again. As we go our separate ways, I will always remember OUR pizza spot.

I am SO SO glad that I stopped here for lunch. Y'all know my penchant for Italian food (I AM Italian..lol) and I had a hankering for pesto. This was almost as good as mine..hell they're from Brooklyn. ?? if you're in Sarasota, make sure you stop here.

First time me & my children patronizing this place the decor was really nice but I was disappointed with my food I ordered a Sicilian pizza and it was half baked. I ate plenty of Sicilian pizzas never experience having anything like this the pizza was nothing but dough underneath the cheese I told the cook he just says "Oh that's how all Sicilian pizza are made. Since when??? Very disappointed in the service and food. The only thing that came out fully baked was my 10 inch godfather pizza. It was ok. Definitely have to find a better spot to eat at next time. See pics that's all dough now cheese???

Café Amalfi is a great place to enjoy a real comfort food and atmosphere, I enjoyed watching the UCONN women's basketball game yesterday while I was eating one of the best pizzas in Sarasota. This restaurant reminds me of home back in Connecticut. Thanks for serving great food. ?

Had a delicious pizza at this restaurant. Cozy little place. Service was excellent. Will certainly go back for a dinner. The amount of choices on the menu are amazing.

Can't rate the atmosphere as I ordered through ubereats, but I can say one thing, they have some of the best bruschetta I've ever ordered! Garlic knots are good, and I know chicken fettucine alfredo is not authentic Italian but it's definitely some of the best I've had in the area. Even with delivery the presentation was good.
