We used to eat here often. Daughter requested tonight for her birthday. The food was disgusting. The steak in the tacos was charred black and tasted like it came from the grease catch on a grill. Seriously nasty taste. We won't be back.

Stopped off for lunch after grandsons soccer game. Steak burrito just as good as last year. I still can't handle their red sauce.

The new girl on the counter is not very good at taking English orders we order everyday but she is difficult and even takes the phone off the hook while your on the other end she leaves it off very frustrating.

This place was horrible it was super nasty I ordered a burrito de asada and the tortilla was so soggy and the meat was burnt, we went inside to ask and they said we make it like that we won’t do anything about it and that’s how our customers like it. I don’t recommend this place ever.

Steak tacos and birria are top notch. Plenty of hidden gems around town, but these ladies are in a league of their own. Come between lunch and dinner. I’ve never had a bad meal here but that window seems to be as fresh as it gets. Thank you El Primo.

Simple place, great food. We just moved to Bradenton couples week ago and we got food there to go 3 times and the food tastes delicious and the service is so genuine. Last time even though my wife forgot to ask for her rice without cheese due to her dietary restrictions the chef remembered her preference and came the front and to confirm. We recommend PLATO DE PESCADO with a side of rice and beans. Mexican spot for both the flavorful food and warm service.

I’m originally from Arizona where good Mexican food is easy to come by. It has been so hard finding good Mexican food here! I’m so glad we finally found this place. The barria tacos as well as the carne asada tacos were amazing! We got a chicken quesadilla to share between 2 kids, and the portion size of that quesadilla was massive. Such a great local spot to support!

I was working in Bradenton, drove by this spot in the morning, and it happened to be open. I swung back over after my meeting and had the barria tacos. Real good choice. The consume was excellent. Both the red and green sauces had bite, with red being the stronger of the two. Got a lime drink that was house made. Wonderful. Overall, top-notch!

So, first, the food. Authentic as it gets. And oh boy, is it tasty. Maybe it's just my tastebuds, but TacoBell and Del Taco are just plain old wrong. And the pricing is on par, so it's not even a contest, it's like the Majors playing a little league team, and the big guys are loosing big time. How is this possible? The little guys have a secret weapon, flavor. 'Nuff said about that.Second, the service, for me, is just service, I asked for a steak burrito and two steak gorditas, and that's what I got. Freshly made (everything) and hot (temperature wise, not spicy level, the offer a red and a green sauce for that - I like the green one!) - In styrofoam (The Gorditas) and waxpaper/foil around the burrito. The sauces come in little plastic containers. Plenty of papertowels, because it is juicy and yummy, and oh my lord it's good. Writing this as I eat so I get all my emotion into it! Anyway, the service did come with a thank you and a smile and my questions were all answered cheerfully. Thus, the 4 star review, above average. This is a good thing, a normal level of anything is a 3. A 4 is above average. Finally, a 5 Star is an Awesome level (thus the 5 Star for the Food). This brings me to the third rating, a 3 Star for the Atmostphere. It's as basic as it gets, but it's not bad, it's just not great or awesome either. This is just what you expect out of an old Ice Cream Shop being transformed into a Taqueria. They do have an awesome drink selection, including a Non-alcoholic Sangria that is pretty special, give it a try! It's tasty to be sure, and goes great with the food.Overall, I would (and do) eat here every chance I get, mostly lunch at work, but I have had a dinner or two from them as well. They do an outstanding job as far as the food, so treat yourself to some real food and not some recycled plastic from TacoBell.Parking: Well, there are a few plants on the borders, it's a parking lot and has room for a dozen or so with some overflow easily at the non-open gas station next door.
