My husband and I have always been a fan of Geckos, but this particular stop on a late afternoon did not hit the mark. Our server was great, warm and friendly. The food was just okay, not up to the normal standards we think of with Geckos. My shrimp were very small and lacked flavor. My husband's sandwich was okay and the chips were crisp and tasty as usual.

We always have a decent meal here. What is the best, is the service! People open doors when you walk in and out (who does that anymore)?! Love it. Servers are always so nice and on top of things. Our last visit, I believe Patrick took care of us and we didn't ever want for anything. He came by often and had a great personality.

Nasty place to eat !!! Dirty silverware and utensils. Please check when you eat here…. bathrooms have soap, but no way of getting it out. It’s the hardest dispensers we know people are not washing their hands here we did complain to the manager the goofball defended and said yes, there is soap, but it’s almost impossible to get out. Food was good Corser might been extra stuff mixed in now that we know it was such a nasty restaurant we do not recommend it. This is a seven person review !!!
Geckos is our spot for a good time, good food, great drinks, & a fun, laid back atmosphere. Very rarely a long wait for a table. The French Dip sandwich is exceptional.
Today at about 1230 my son, husband and myself had lunch here. The fries and tots were barely room temp. Not a Big problem and the waitress quickly got us some fresh fries and tots. My husband and I split and shared our entrées and I noticed there was no thousand island on the Ruben sandwich. Again, the waitress was very sweet and offered to have a new one made. In the meantime an older blond lady with her hair in a bun, who was also seating people, came over and asked what the problem was. We showed her the sandwich and there was literally a speck of thousand island. Instead of getting a fresh sandwich she came back over with a cold container of thousand island. I guarantee you there was an attitude and she didn’t set it down, she tossed it on our table. Then the manager came over and apologized and took it off the bill. The manager and our waitress were very apologetic and made things right but the hostess or whatever her position is left us with a bad taste in our mouth. We eat here regularly but it’ll be awhile before we go back if we go back because of one woman’s attitude. I hope management knows which employee I’m talking about.
