Food was disappointing. Shrimp were overcooked and scallops tasted old. Wanted to love it, but was disappointed.

Great menu, decently priced, lots of options, intimate atmosphere, food was cooked properly and tasted great. Would be a good unassuming/chill date night where time for conversation is desired and given. If you're wanting something quicker, they seemed to have an efficient Togo operation in place and my wife and I saw many carry out customers come and go during our hour and half visit.Update*tried to order takeout this evening and was denied service because they were "too busy". So I guess what appeared to be an efficient Togo operation was not in fact. Still a good date night spot but takeout service is hit or miss at best.

This place is so good. Reminds me of the old JoTo. My locals know what I mean.

First time here after 41 years going to JOTo’s original by the airport! Service was exceptional. Food was an A . Can’t give an A plus as eating while being cooked in front of doesn’t get any better. Again highly recommend! Nice to keep a great tradition going ! ???

So glad the Chef from Jo-To's opened his own restaurant! The food is amazing. Fresh, hot, and delicious. The soup and salad with ginger dressing are great starters. We had the filet and shrimp hibachi. The filets were cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. The fried rice was flavorful as well as the zucchini. The service was on point. Friendly and helpful. I also ordered take out on another night and the food was just as delicious when I got home. Highly recommend take out as well. Little Jo-To's does not cook at the table but we are fine with that! Can't wait to go again. Please spread the word!

I was so so happy to learn that they had finally opened up so we went last week and was not disappointed! Everything tastes exactly the same and as wonderful as before! Of course I miss the Teppanyaki style cooking that was done in front of you at the old Jotos but I know that's gone now so I'm just so happy to at least have all the same tasting soup salad and dinner! I even bought some of that most delicious dressing to take home!!

Four of us fined at Little Jo To in Bradenton. Great service, excellent food reasonable prices and will return. One item was let's say it was non descript and that was the salad which by rights isn't even needed with the dinner. For those who enjoy squid the squid salad is excellent!Bob

Our initial visit to Little Jo-To's proved to be an exceptional experience. The service we received was nothing short of impeccable - prompt, efficient, and courteous. We began our meal with the delectable egg rolls and vegetable tempura, both of which were prepared with utmost finesse. The main course, a perfectly cooked filet, left us completely satisfied and craving for more. It is without hesitation that we highly recommend Little Jo-To!

Happy and sad at the same time.. my wife and I were 18 the first time we went to the old Jotos in 1988. We had spent almost every birthday and our kids birthdays there.. This place was amazingly special to us!!. I guess we expected that scene vs the new vibe.. we figured they would have some of the old tables and be cooking in front of us making the big fire and maybe a volcano that everyone loved to see. This is not like that at all.. This place is small and that is fine.. it’s called little jotos for a reason.. when we walked in there are 16 tables and none of them were hibachi.. Where are all the chefs making fire and memories?. The food was amazing and tasted just like old times.. it is hands down the best Japanese food you will ever eat.. and still is!.. Thanks to our favorite chef who carried on.. thank you for giving us some of the old jotos back! Maybe somewhere down the road you can open up a bigger location with hibachi like the old jotos… PS… a full alcohol bar doesn’t hurt either. Missing our flaming fujyama..lol

Enjoyed a great first night at this new neighborhood restaurant from the chef at the original Jo-To. The food was fresh, hot, cooked perfectly and it was all delicious! Egg roll appetizer was crisp and yummy, hibachi entrees w Miso soup, salad, and shrimp appetizer were all incredible. The service was prompt and very friendly. The restaurant makeover is amazing and the space is beautiful! We will definitely be back for more and often!

As a long-time patron of Jo-To's, I can say it's almost like they never closed. With the exception of the 9 month wait, all the beloved characteristics are still there. Sure the show is gone, but you get to sit with the party you came with, the portions are much larger, and it is MUCH colder inside (since there isnt a grill in your face)We got shrimp shumai for our appetizer. We both ordered double filet and shrimp with extra vegetables! (Yes, you can technically still get a triple even though it isnt on the menu)All in all, everything was delicious! I will continue to make Jo-To's (Little Jo-To's now) a permanent staple of my monthly dining plans.
