We were directed outside as we were a big party of 20-30 people.Outside under a huge tree, that the wind was blowing pretty good. An our water had stuff from the above tree in our water an our mix drinks if you had.The rib-by was really thick an the ligaments in the meat was terrible to chew an got stuck in my teeth, meat was hard to chew.Parking: Parking was fine!

I was very disappointed in this place, the food was terrible and i think the waitress knew we weren’t enjoying it. She didn’t even ask how our food was even though we left half of it on our plates. Scampi florentine was lumpy and the steak was chewy at best.

The desert was definitely microwaved, server wasn’t attentive. Fresh catch was definitely not fresh. Il be fair and give it a 2 for ambiance but really want to give it a 1 because it shouldn’t be in the 4s

Have eaten here three times in the past week oddly enough. Good service and atmosphere for sure! Would recommend the prime rib which is served on Fridays and Saturdays only, the fish and chips and the blackened cod. Would not recommend the shrimp florentine pasta, it didn't have a white wine sauce, just had some sprinkled cheese on top that didn't melt and the shrimp was subpar or the burger. But other than that, most things on the menu are good. The ahi tuna nachos, caprese and the Monte cristo apps were yummy!

Attended a banquet with the Manatee Women’s Council of Realtors. The upstairs banquet room is just beautiful, clean with a rich feel and THE VIEW is awesome. Catch the sunset if you can!! The salad was crisp and fresh, the dinner was delicious and the desserts were fun…. The downstairs restaurant has fabulous steaks, a FAVORITE!! This building has great history and is said by some to be haunted - we saw no ghosts…Parking: We always use the valet for parking.
Hidden Gem!! This was the best meal I've had since moving to Florida. Cynthia our server was amazing, she was friendly, funny, knowledgeable and just the best everything that came to the table was presented like a work of art. The Monte Cristo appetizers is outstanding!! Looks like it would be heavy and it light and airy. Specials were Buffalo steak which was incredibly well prepared and a black bean chicken soup that was so good. The osso bucco was fall off the bone and the Thai beef is beyond outstanding!! Cheesecake was good and Creme Brulee it wasn't too sweet it was heavenly. Thanks for an amazing meal!

Had some appetizers and some drinks at the outdoor patio. The bartender was very professional and great service. Would definitely check this place out if your in the area!
We were very disappointed with the portions of the food. My wife had the grouper which was like a small pancake. There was hardly any fish there under the bun. I had the fish and chips which were more fried dough than there was fish. Prices are too expensive for such small portions. Now it seems that Pier 22 is more of a tourist trap then a place for locals who are used to bigger portions and better prices. The couple we were with had the same complaints. We've been to this restaurant before and it's been pretty good. However, after this experience we will not go back after the changes that have been made which are not for the best. I think they're going to lose a lot of customers.

Beautiful waterfront view. I dropped one star because we actually went the day before and there was some sort of building issue but we never got a notice that they were closing so we just had to leave when we got there. I went for the grouper sandwich which was perfectly fried. But it was a bit too much bread for the thickness of the grouper. Also, the grouper itself wasn't seasoned enough nor was the coleslaw. But my husband got the fries and they were delightful.Parking: You can park along the sides or on the grass in the center. But you can also park right outside the lot for free on the street.
