About the nicest thing I can say is that all the lids fit on the containers. The taste was equivalent to a lid. Very disappointing. More like a taste of China generic fast food than actual Chinese food.

I threw away the entire order after trying the main dish, sweet and sour chicken, main dish sauce and rice. I’ve eaten their takeout a number of times over the last 4 years, used to be passable, but the last two times I tried them it was literally not edible.

Food has literally zero taste. I got schezuan chicken....it was 3/4 filled with onions! Did not taste any schezuan sauce or spicyness!I got kung pao chicken....had no salt or taste in it.Dumplings were also no goodI spent about $40 and had to throw away all the food. Overpriced and tasteless. Never going there again!!!

Pure garbage!!!! No salt no seasoning. Bland….. skimpy…tasteless …any positive reviews were from the previous owners and it’s all gone down severely and absolutely horrible there. So many people are commenting on his nasty the food is.. they use zero salt so everything is completely tasteless. They didn’t even give soy sauce packets. Ended up throwing my meal out because it was just not edible.

Absolutely disgusting. Not edible. No seasoning or salt. Had to throw it out. Enjoy reading all the horrible reviews on Google and they are all true. The previous owners years ago. Did OK but whoever took this over. Has screwed it up and given a lot of people some serious stomach aches people have even posted pictures of bugs in the food. I will say it is the worst Chinese food I've ever had in my entire life. I think it's funny the name of the place because it should be starting with the name "TASTELESS"

Placed a pick up order at 6:15pm got to restaurant and paid at 6:32pm. Waited until 6:53pm for my food after being told 10-15m at 6:15. Foods always good but the new crew isn't as good as the old one.

First time ordering here. Got the Shrimp and Broccoli in Hot garlic suace., some fried wontons and chicken with mixed vegetables steamed. The main food was very tasty and we enjoyed it. The wontons however were too small. They were all wrapper with barely a teaspoon of meat in them. Won't get them again. Since the shrimp and chicken were so good we will order from here again.
Best Chinese food in the area. Even my family from up north consider this better than their local Chinese food.

We ordered from the Taste of China in east Sarasota routinely when we lived there. Tried this store just now, really looking forward to it. Very disappointed with the steamed dumplings - our favorite - when the sauce tasted primarily like balsamic vinegar. No soy or ginger flavor whatsoever. Also ordered Shrimp Egg Foo Yung - looked great, no flavor whatsoever, including the gravy.
