This was our first time at La Septima, and the staff was incredibly helpful! They gave us suggestions for dinner and explained what I wasn't sure what it was. The Yuka was a little too heavy on the garlic, but other than that, we had a great dinner.

We used to govtovthe old LA Septima and loved it. Our latest experience was OK but not what we were expecting. The Steak Milanesa was not what was on the menu. MyvCuban sandwich was good but not like the old days either. I maycgive it another try sometime but I can only rate it average for this visit.

This is not the restaurant that I’ve enjoyed for 25+ years, it is now a takeout restaurant with a few tables inside to eat at, No wait-staff. You order at the counter - then a food runner brings your order out. Need something / get it yourself.Food quality has gone downhill, food is served on plastic plates / VERY cheap plastic knife & forks. It hurts to write this but read the negative reviews there honest, not sure about the reviews that say “great service “ THERE IS NO SERVICE! I made a quick spot here as it was portrayed a a cuban resturant. It's clean when you walk in, so no complaints there, but they don't really understand the culture. No one knew what a colada was, nor do they actually make cuban Cafe for starters. No pasteries or such either. Not a grab and go spot, so maybe the actual food is better, but the coffee they served me was some typical American coffee from one of those squirt jugs. The coffee must have been sitting for hours as it tasted horrible, especially as it was sold as Cafe con Leche. Sorry, no authenticity at all.My rate for service is for knowledge. They weren't rude at all, just not great if you expect cuban.
