Delicious!! Very good experience. We saw this bar on bar rescue and had to try it. We were pleased and will definitely be back!

Went to an Irish Pub on St Paddy's day weekend, they had a live band and couldn't figure out that it would be busy.. Closed the kitchen because they couldn't handle it, so couldn't get food. Service was slow and terrible, 1 waitress. Had 1 beer and left. Don't have a live Irish band if you can't handle people coming. Also they covered up the iconic wall which is like 1/2 the reason anyone would come here, very "Instagram worthy", so basically they killed this bar overnight. Changed the name but don't even have any signs anywhere saying the name has changed. Between the name and the wall, we thought we were in the wrong bar.Bar Rescue needs to come in here and show them how it's done!! And uncover the cool wall that you see in most the photos here!!

The Black Velvet band was awesome. The service was incredible, including the honesty about there delays in the kitchen. I think it was managed very well and we had a great time.

I had the fish and chips, as did our friend, my wife had the Reuben, also Good. The was good, but the menu is very limited due to staffing problems due to the pandemic. Service was ery friendly and efficient, n long waits. Happy hour was convenient as well. Probably was I really lked was that the acoustics were very good, you could carry on a conversation without having to scream.

It's no longer the Forge, it's Crowne. They've gone through changes after Bar Rescue. There were 12 of us from a Foodies group, with prior reservations but Mariely Crowne never told me what was going on (after I confirmed with her 12 of us were coming) apparently she left them high and dry. They had no idea we were coming! So unfair. Regardless, the food was good and the mushroom appetizer was delish! Our waiter worked very hard for us. I would give them a couple months to get things ironed out and more staff on hand. They are short handed. If a larger party goes in, you won't be served all at the same time. It was no big deal for us, we understand the situation they got dumped in their lap. My Rueben was fantastic! The fish was good, what you expect at a bar. Burgers good. Here are some pics...

I get that St. Patrick's Day is a busy day for any Irish pub, but a little planning goes a long way. We were there at 6:30pm, gladly waited almost an hour for a table, only to find out the kitchen was out of food. "We have French fries" is all our sever said. We had 1 drink and one glass of water while waiting, when I closed our bar tab is was $12 and some change. I woke up this morning to a $50 charge from the place on my card. We didn't eat anything at the table. We ordered a drink that never arrived; AND I left $30 on the table in cash because I felt bad for the server. The bartenders were doing shots with the guests, it was an all out disaster. Rumor is that "Bar Rescue" changed the place around and I bet John Tafer would be livid with what they did to his work. It is what it is, we just won't be back. I suggest you don't either.

We went here for corn beef sandwiches. We started with a pretzel that was smaller than you get at the movies and had no cheese for $12.00. Then the sandwich was made with corn beef lunch meat and had two pieces on each side for 15.95. All we tasted was the butter on the bread. On top of that the service was horrific. I would really had liked for this to be our place to go for Irish food being it is so close. We had been here 6 months ago and the service was great and the food was much better. Very disappointing for our St. Patrick's Day out. We won't be back.

Today I had lunch with my family at the Forge. I am not an adventurous eater, however I tried poutine and colcannon for the first time and I loved them both. The portions were great and everything was delicious and I will definitely return to the Forge.

We just discovered the Forge today! What a delight. We tried Irish Poutine, and its was yummy! I had an order of Colcannon for the first time and I loved it. The Irish Bruschetta was delicious! Thank you Patrick. Great service great food!

Not sure why my GPS (Apple Maps) had the hardest time navigating me here but it is tucked away out of sight behind the BMO Harris Bank. For a Friday night the dining room was pretty empty but the bar had quite a few customers. There was live music which gave it a nice touch. Server was attentive and we ordered a round of cocktails and appetizers. Drinks came out quickly and tasted great. We ordered the bruschetta (kinda weird at an Irish pub), poutine and bangers and mash (an entree item) as our appetizers. The bruschetta was actually delicious, just wished the bread was a bit more toasted. Our first time trying bangers and mash and it was nice and flavorful. The fried onions were a nice touch. My favorite of the three was the poutine. The salty gravy was nice and thick over the French fries so they weren't soggy. Initially I ordered the Forge Pie (shepherds pie) as my entree but literally a few min before my tables entrees arrived I was told they were fresh out so I got the Dublin Decker Buffalo chicken sandwich instead. I had to wait while the rest of my table got to eat their meals. I will say though- the sandwich was worth the wait! The chicken was a nice thick breast with blue cheese crumbles on top.

My BF and I went to the forge last night for dinner and had a wonderful experience! The menu has great authentic Irish fare, and the pub is beautiful. Service was great, and food was fantastic - with ample size servings. I definitely recommend the Poutine, fish and chips, and mushroom appetizer! We moved to the bar after dinner and stayed later than we planned - the great service continued with Patrick behind the bar. We will definitely go back!

So much potential here. The food and service is lacking. I ordered the fish and chips which came out soggy with breading that was thick and cold. Really disappointed. Sitting at the bar on a quiet weeknight my friend and I had to wait around 10 minutes to be served drinks upon our arrival. Will not be returning.

Good food, service and ambiance. They had to pair back the menu due to covid and we can't wait for it to return to normal. Last time we were there it blew us away.

With tip & tax. Paid $27.00 for two mediocre bloodymarys.Freezing cold. Everyone left their coats on. Service was very slow. Entertainment was good. Our second time. First wasn't much better. Likely our last.
