We had a great evening at Avi Limon. We had a mix of diners: two vegans and two omnivores.The vegans ordered rice dishes and pasta dishes. The dishes were delicious and loaded with plant protein.The omnivores had a delicious ceviche and stir fry.Peruvian beers, sangria and a house Malbec were enjoyed.We took home very moist and yummy tres leches - one traditional, the other chocolate.

We have eaten a lot of Peruvian food and in terms of actual taste it was extremely average nothing special. Ceviche was fresh, paella was average, and the steak dishes that we got were average. On the other hand, the service was deplorable. Our server was extremely inattentive and forgot multiple items even after we asked for them repeatedly. She also stopped in the middle of taking our order to talk to her server friend in Spanish. In addition the decor of the place was a bit sad and vibe wasn’t great. All in all not a terrible option food wise but would not come back due the mediocrity of the food combined with the poor service and ambience.
