Well lit and friendly right off the bat is the best way to describe how it feels to walk right in. The smell of meat permeates the air and we were already hungry before we sat down! By far the best burn ends in Lee county and the brisket isn't far behind. Beans were a little heavy on the cumin but that's a personal taste issue. Overall this small business is absolutely worth your time if you even remotely love your taste buds!

Wow. Really good brisket and I challenge you to find better Mac n Cheese than their 8 cheese Mac n cheese. OMG. Oort gooey goodness in ever single bite. Fries and collard greens are also good. Great seasoning profile.

Great food. Rib racks are very large and meat falls off the bone. Brisket is also moist and tender Only disappointed item was cornbread that was dry and burnt. Called restaurant when we got home and they credited us double for the trouble so they took care of us

Had lunch there today. First time there and it was amazing! Great food and great server! If you have not tried...you need to! They have a lunch special from 11am to 2pm weekdays of sandwich, side and drink for only $10!

Fresh food that tasted like real homemade bbq and our server (Thank you Elsie!) was incredibly friendly and answered all of our silly food questions. We came back a second time with the rest of our family for a birthday and had another amazing meal.

When we first discovered Big 8 in 2022, we thought it was the best brisket we had ever tasted. We thought the food was amazing and ordered many times after this - I would say about 10 times. I don't know what happened, but we have noticed a serious decline in the food as well as the service in 2024. We ordered twice this year and the first time, the brisket was very fatty and the ribs weren't great. We just picked up again today on St Patrick's day. Today, the ribs had a lot of gristle. The brisket was too much fat. The chicken was dry. We were told our order would be ready in 15 minutes. It took 40 minutes. After getting home, we realized they didn't give us our fries, they gave us a small salad instead of the large one that was ordered, and they forgot to give us our corn bread. Worst of all, there was a large 8 inch long piece of plastic in the middle of our food. I don't think we will be going back. When we called to complain (which my wife never does), they hung up on us.

I got a takeout order 2 weeks ago. I will be back! Got the sloppy Joe, cucumber salad, and banana pudding. WOW!!!!! The ambiance was great. Quiet and clean. The aroma of all the foods made my nose do a happy dance. Considering the fact that I have hayfever...I guess there's hope! I brought home a nice a Warm delicious sandwich Crisp salad Yummy pudding!!!! I give this place 3 Go's!!! GO. GO. GO!!!
