Most of the food was cold, dessert bar was lacking a lot. The girl at the register didn't even say thank you, other than she told me the cost, she didn't say anything. Won't be going back there anytime soon and definitely will not recommend it to anyone!

Went at about 12:30. Not too busy, and the price was good. All the food was fresh and good. Nice selection of American foods. Can also make your own burgers and tacos. Lots of good deserts too. we will be back.

Marshal our attendant was awesome!! For some reason I thought they would have some one behind the stations placing the food on your plate however it was everyone touching the serving utensils. Food was good just felt there should of been gloves by each station.

The meat (chicken) completely dried out. I was getting a salad and the tender was breaking down the bar. She knew that I wanted some of the vegetables but didn't offer to put them back. The rest of the food was cold. I had steak, the cook offered to cook it and bring it to my table. It was good and so was my sweet potato. I used to come here years ago and it wasn't bad. I'll never go to this place again!

Had my mother's 75th birthday party here in the back room with lots of people. Amazing service, friendly staff, very accommodating. Busy afternoon /evening to have a gathering that large, but the staff was very professional, understanding & assisted with all the elderly and disabled individuals needs. I've eaten at A Golden Coral like maybe twice or three times in my life, this being one of them. A thank you to all, cooks, servers & management to make this special occasion a success. Will come here again when I'm the area.

Price is right. Several said the deep fried shrimp were too doughy. One man left his on plate. We ate ours but didn't like them. I don't like spicy meat and the fat was good but had a taste that may have been Mesquite in the meat part.

Golden corral is a great value of course.... You get whatever you like and that's what makes it nice... The buffet has been cheapened up a bit, but still many really tasty items on their bar... I look forward to going there again with my kids... And by the way it was really clean.

The place was pretty grubby and the food could definitely stand to be freshened up. The cashier barely said 4 words to us.Our server was very friendly and did a fine job.

Appalling what a horrible Thanksgiving experience spent 19 a person for a Turkey Dinner with all the fixings except after being there 2 hours still no Turkey. The waitress was amazing trying to find out what was wrong and why they did not have any Turkey to end up getting screamed at by the GM right in front of us in the party room all for trying to get Turkey to your guests that you advertised and promised to us. Food horrible waitress amazing GM should be fired. Never again will we go there learn how to treat guests and your staff

Have eaten in several over the last few weeks whilst travelling Florida - this one was by far the best for the choice and quality of food! Server (Marshall?) very attentive and pleasant - only problem I have been given military discount in all other corals apart from this one!

No straws or clean plates or trays. $40 for 2 seniors on a Friday. Had to get our own silverware, had to refill our own drinks. Empty food trays. Margarine....really! Salad almost non-existent. Nobody to fill it.

We haven't been there in quite a while but tried it again yesterday & it was "acceptable" for a buffet. The restaurant appears to be shorthanded with all their employees filling in for each other as needed. We got there on a Thurs when they first opened at 11 AM & everything was fresh but still limited to a weekday lunch menu. I imagine that it could get messy at dinner time unless more employees are working. The food was hot & prepared well (not over salted) & our waitress was there to clean off our table plates every time. The woman working the desserts section was over worked doing everything form servicing the ice cream machine to preparing cakes to cleaning up. Masks & plastic gloves for people at the buffet line not required but were available- no one was using them.

Place is a joke they are closed 4 days a week and close earlier than advertised and too early to get a relaxed dinner after work and a shower. Finally I tried AGAIN tonight and they were technically open but nobody had any interest in customers the one lady who was pretending to clean said a lady cashier was "somewhere" then a while later a cook? Walks up stuffing his face with food tells me to wait because a guy will come eventually. Place was almost completely empty and I could see piles of food going to waste finally I just left and went to olive garden-wow they had someone to seat me almost like a real restaurant. This Golden Coral should close or find a competent manager. Buffet city in fort Myers can be busy but there's a reason they are 100X more competent.

Deplorable. Why offer Thanksgiving dinner if you can't provide it, and then when your waitress is doing her utmost to offer top notch customer service to your guests, your GM screams at her and belittles her in front of guest. Unacceptable.You lied to your guests, you abused your staff in front of paying guests.I hope that girl got home okay last night and I hope she's looking for new employment because she is worth so much more than that.

What a sad experience for us at the Cape Coral store . Apparently the hot wells weren’t working food was cold steak was cold salad bar was empty dessert s were nonexistent. I know it’s hard to find help but gosh ! Someone needs to address the temperatures of the food .Cashier never said a word to us just stared blankly as I gave her our money no smile no hello or enjoy your meal . Apparently she didn’t want to be there . Then she was attempting to fill salads but only did the lettuce not the 6 other empty containers. As she dumped the lettuce in the bowl she used her hands to fluff it ?. Saw her repeatedly wipe her nose but didn’t wash her hands. Don’t you give sanitation classes?Just an overall bad experience at this restaurant. Will be a long time before we return. Sadly because we usually like Golden Corral
