We often went to this restaurant when it was known as "The Duke of Germany". One could always count on having a very good saurbraten or wurst plate. Sadly this is no longer the case. The sauerbraten had obviously been defrosted/microwaved. It was dry and flavorless. The potato pancake had a rancid oil taste and was mushy. The red cabbage was pretty good. The Bavarian Wurst platter was interesting. The two brats and one beef sausage were over cooked/ grilled/ microwaved. They were very dry and had no juice whatsoever. The saurkraut was good and the mashed potatoes were okay, but the gravy was sparse and tasteless. The beer was very good; the highlight of the meal. The service was very good . After reading all the rave reviews one might wonder why this restaurant was empty on a Friday night. After trying the food, the answer was plain to us.

I had Jaeger schnitzel with the Spaetzle, and potato pancake. Did not like the potato pancake, the oil tasted stale. They gladly replaced it with the bavarian roasted potatoes that were absolutely amazing! The homemade apple strudel was delicious as well. It’s family owned and they are very nice.

Finally a German restaurant in town that does justice to the cuisine. Don’t waste your time going anywhere else in town. I am German and am happy to finally find a restaurant that has good German food. The restaurant is very clean, service is great, and food is delicious. If you’re craving authentic German food, this is your place.

Stopped here for German food and it was fantastic! Ordered the schnitzel with red cabbage and spaetzle. Rest of group ordered Bosnian food and really loved it. Highly recommend and will return!

Had dinner here tonight and it was wonderful. Both of our meals were very, very good. Service was very good as well. Very, very clean and wait staff was most attentive!

First time there, we had Rolladen also Curry Wurst with Home Fries and Red Cabbage. Delightful dinner! For dessert we had the Homemade Strudel with whipped cream and ice cream. We definitely enjoyed and certainly will be back! Highly recommend, everything is home made by them.

Found this spot by accident: great German/European cuisine in a relaxed casual atmosphere. Service was very friendly and overall enjoyable. Will go back! The Sauerkraut was fantastic!
