“I caught up with El Carnal's food truck (technically, a trailer behind a big Ford pickup truck) at Riptide Brewing in Bonita Springs After a first round of frosty beverages, it was time for dinner. El Carnal was scheduled for this particular evening. A little loud with the generator but we were able to successfully place our orders. A few minutes later, I was expecting to go and get it, but the friendly proprietor delivered our meals to the inside counter. I had their chicken burrito which turned out to be a huge stuffed burrito topped with queso. Inside, chicken and beans and rice and lots of flavor. Delicious and definitely the sort of thing I was eating with knife and fork. “Cool little spot to get burritos and the do fusion style so it's not just tex Mexican or Spanish style this place I guess americanizes the food they make many unique burritos and all are good the place is set up nice and the staff know the product which is great“
“This is the place for planet based vegan options! I got the pasta primavera in red sauce and a spaghetti squash bowl! Absolutely excellent if your looking for perfect SWFL atmosphere and a great vegan meal ?Vegetarian options: From the apps with incredible brussel sprouts (not overloaded with deep fried oil ?) and plenty of other plant based options. Burgers to spaghetti squash pasta options. Additional fish add-ons for those that like. “Yummy tacos and quesadillas. We’ve gone 4 days In a row. I will say lunch has always been better than dinner. Not sure why, the one time we ordered dinner it was just okay. Great value for how much it costs. Everything is fresh and not dried out. A bit on the greasy side though.“
