The food is amazing! The service was sincerely wonderful. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch the gentleman’s name but he was incredibly friendly.. The restaurant and the bathrooms were extremely clean. Overall a truly great experience and the best meal we’ve had since we’ve been here.Parking: Parking by the restaurant with additional parking across the street.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly, down to earth environment.

Been along time coming! I’ve driven past this restaurant many times and always wanted to try it. Finally got the chance, and it was worth the wait. Very good food but even better customer service!

Quick service and one of a few places to eat. Price does not match food quality. Not a bad option in a pinch.

Wasn't anything special. The 4pc rib dish--ribs were dry, lukewarm, potato salad-not homemade, coleslaw? forget it! My friends had pulled pork, no complaints there, but they both didn't like coleslaw either. Will try other BBQ places in area.

We went at an off hour so the place was empty. The staff were very charming and helpful. Told us that being we were sharing our meal it makes more sense and save us some money to order the 2 meat platter instead of the way we were ordering. The food came out very quickly. We had pulled pork and ribs. Both were delicious. Collards and cowboy beans were excellent. My only critique is the hot BBQ sauce wasn't very hot at all. I recommend eating here.

Unfortunately, the aftermath of my experience eating here makes me never want to come back. We arrived at our beach cottage just around sunset. We've been stuck in the car driving for most of the day. We were ready for dinner and The Cape Smokehouse was just a few blocks down the road from where we were staying to celebrate 10 years of marriage. We decided to walk there to stretch our legs. No lights on the road due to sea turtle nesting season; totally cool and fine! We found our way through the dark to the restaurant. There were no other customers when we entered through the door. A lady was behind a counter register ready to take our order. I ordered the Chopped Smoked Chicken Sandwich with Collard Greens and hubby ordered the Beef Brisket Sandwich with French Fries. We paid and waited for our food. He brought me my water in a styrofoam cup and after I took my first sip I nearly spit it out. I looked at him and said as quietly as I could that for some reason this water tastes like someone scooped it up from a toilet bowel. I've lived in Florida long enough to have had some poor tasting tap water, however, this was the worst. I put it to the side and did not touch it again. The sandwiches tasted fine with some help from the BBQ Sauce, however, the collard greens had quite a vinegar bite to them and bits and pieces of an unidentifiable meat were floating in it, which was not mentioned on the menu nor by the order taker. I ate too much of it, but left the rest uneaten. In the meantime more customers entered the facility and the place did not seem so deserted after all. After throwing leftovers in the trash we placed the food trays on the counter and left. Well, lo and behold at 5 in the morning my stomach started gurgling and the pain began. I have lost all count of how many bathroom trips I had to take. As painful as it was, almost worse was the constant burping and each time having to taste that nasty toilet bowl water with the vinegar taste from those collard greens. It seriously felt as if my intestines had transformed into a brewery constantly spewing up this nasty fermented taste. I ended up having to take Pepto-Bismol and Tums to calm my insides down. Even after our despite-everything-wonderful-trip was over and I was already home I still had internal issues. This is definitely not how I imagined I would be spending my 2nd honeymoon. As I was still checking out their menu on what to order I noticed that they offered Beef Ribs on Fridays and Saturdays. I would have liked to try some since I've never had any. Now, all the king's horses and and all the king's men could not bring me to take another step back into this torturous place, because this Humpty Dumpty was broken badly. Not so happy yelping!

Could be so much better Smells great. Service was fast and good. The cook was outside smoking a heater when we arrived. Chopped chicken was dry and tasteless, but somehow the bun was soggy. Pulled pork was full of fat. Grits were good. Coleslaw was spicy which I liked but most others did not. Had heard the pastrami was awesome but they did not make the day we visited You can do a lot better on the cape. On a positive note the beer was cold ?

Brisket was great. Mac and cheese, coleslaw and beans were delicious. Friendly service. Outdoor seating was nice.

Tried when they first opened but had to leave because the smoke inside was too much. Now the smoker is outside and the indoor air quality is fine. I had a great fresh salad with pulled chicken on the top and my husband had a pulled chicken sandwich that was delicious. He rarely eats his entire meal, but he finished every bit of coleslaw, cornbread and sandwich this time.

Great food. But upset about deceptive costs. Ordered a sandwich with slaw and an extra side to go. $18-19 which was reasonable for good food. But then ordered 2 soft drinks and 16oz cups were all they had and that added $7 ?Whaaat? Then they added a service charge. Again, Whaaat? By the time we were done it was over $30 for food to go. Receipt did not break down each item. Very shady in my opinion.
