We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at The Fisherman's Wife. The food was excellent with hearty portions. The best part was our waitress. Cheryl. She made us feel welcomed and special.

We ate here on Valentine's Day. I had the Grilled crab cakes and I normally love them but these here were way too salty. I mentioned it to the waitress and she didn't say anything really. My husband's meal was good. He had the snapper and it tasted great. When we went to pay the cashier asked if everything was okay. I told her what I thought of the salty crab cakes and she told me next time only ask for the one time of seasoning. They use Old Bay seasoning first and then they put a lemon butter seasoning on top of that and wow salty! Beware

First time there I ate a salad but sample the food from the others. Short serving time Everyone was nice, plus I lost four of my rings and went back to see if anyone found them. One of their girls found 3. Found stone of one in bathroom That was super nice that kept them. Honesty I will go back when I don't have a sore mouth to only eat salad.

Kid-friendliness: It's a family restaurant

Wheelchair accessibility: Nice long a little steep, but doable ramp to the door.

Was warmly greated. Homemade blue cheese dressing was good. Dinner was served very fast. Before I had a chance to finish my salad. Grilled shrimp was over cooked and chewy. Waitress asked if it was OK as she passed by, I told her and she did not come back to my table. In her defense 4 tables came in all at once. Hostess person brought the check, it was incorrect but she fixed. Took the shrimp to go to chop up for a shrimp salad. Mistakes were made. Would not give Fisherman's Wife a second try.

Where do I begin with this gem! Smoked mullet dip brought back my childhood memories as a Floridian. Maybe some of the best I've ever had. My wife's shrimp and mushroom Philly was incredible enough for her not to speak while she was eating it. My fried oysters and cheese grits made my tongue slap the back of my brain. Sweet tea you can guzzle. Pies made from scratch and love. They turned an old beach house into a cozy diner. Great customer service. We will be going out of our way to come back. Thank you for an incredible experience in a great beach town!

Stopped in for lunch on our way down to visit family in St. Pete. The restaurant is rather small and pretty tight quarters when you first come in with not much room to wait for a table without blocking the door. Definitely in need of a facelift. Food was good, I had the blackened grouper basket with cheese grits and hushpuppies. The flavor was very good without it being too spicy. The waitress was nice and cheerful. All in all, it was a good stop.
