The black beans tasted amazingly, the plantains were super perfectly sweet, the white rice even has good flavor. I personally would be back to this small mom and pop shop to eat other items on the menu. I would definitely try the (questito) warm or cold. I like it cold, for some off reason. I was intrigued about them as good Cuban food, done right without breaking your wallet is hard to find. I was impressed to find the Cuban food actually tasted like real Cuban food, in a clean and cozy environment. I asked Alex's wife Missy or Misty? how long had they been there and she said 24 years! “You need to come check out this location. Same great food and coffee but it's a better vibe. The Zaza in Waterford Lakes always seems crowded and the traffic there is horrible. This Zaza feels more relaxed and is easier to get to. Get a coffee and a quesito and start your day off right.Another reason I prefer coming here is because of Hussein. He's always taking care of you, making sure your order is right, talking to you about different coffees so you get exactly what you want, and Hussein always has a great attitude. Happy and friendly, and nobody makes a better Café con leche. Zaza gets 5 stars but Hussein gets 10.“
“As someone who has never been here before, my experience here was awesome. From the moment I walked in the staff was warm and welcoming with smiles. I’m not familiar with this type of cuisine, so I needed a little help. Staff went above and beyond to help me order the perfect meal. I tried the mofongo and pork belly and it’s to die for. The chef came out to speak with a costumer and he was also super friendly and welcoming. Overall excellent experience. “Food was pretty much on par with what to expect from a little mom and pop style breakfast spot; nothing bad, not out of this world, just plain breakfast, same as it would be if I made it myself, can't complain, it got the job done.Wait time was zero on a Sunday around noon when every other breakfast spot has lines and 30-60 min wait times, and food was out in 5-10 mins after ordering, pretty sure nobody can say that about any other breakfast place in Orlando.After we got drinks and food that was pretty much it, indeed the waitress never came back once and even after I finished eating I had to wave her down to get the check, not sure what the deal was with that but eh, she seemed young, maybe new? Not going to judge a place based on something that small.Overall a plain but good spot, if you're hungry and need food in a pinch you can probably get served here much faster than other places nearby, and nothing about the food was bad, no weird flavors or burntness like what you'd get from Denny's etcBathrooms are a bit dim, may want to invest in brighter LED bulbs; they do have 100-150 watt equivalents out there, check Amazon they're only like 20 bucks.“

“I enjoy coming here the food is very clean and great quality , the flavors are flavorful but not overwhelming. May the lord continue to bless the hands that prepare these foods. Last week I was $1.65 cents short the cashier covered me , so today I paid it back cus I had it . Any way today I ordered fish with yuca and salad , I feel so happy and the food is so whole some… also I know some reviewers mention the employees , especially the ones doing the bakery section be having stank attitude. I don’t think is that , remember every one is different ( I’m not making excuses) I get it. “Atmosphere is nice - maybe a few too many TVs playing random YouTube videos though. Maduros were fantastic but the Cuban sandwich was disappointing - not much meat and way too much bread. The service was very good and patient with our kids indecisiveness in ordering.“
“I personally love mom n pops restaurants and if you’re in the area , you should try this one. Cute and small but the food is made fresh and tasty. I got a tripleta sandwich (freshly pressed) filled plus a big portion. I also got a papaya batido that was rather tasty! Would come back !!“
