I am very impressed with the experience I had at this Steak ‘n Shake! The Restaurant was very clean, the service was excellent and the food was all fresh and delicious! The fries were warm and crispy and the Steak Burger was flavorful and tasty! Highly recommend going to this location if you’re ever in the area.

On march 24, 2024 Cleaning lady closed 90% of the restaurant and wouldn’t let us sit in the tables.Then she wouldn’t allow us to use the restroom.It was only 9:30 and they close at 12

I went through the drive through last night and ordered the bacon cheeseburger without cheese. My daughter was driving so I started eating. As soon as I bite the burger, I noticed there wasn't any bacon on it. When we went back, inside was closed so we had to go through the drive thru again. When my daughter told her the burger was missing bacon (the burger is open with a full bite in it and sitting on my lap) she started looking in the register. Not sure why when we were only gone for about 2-3 minutes... she said something to another employee and then came back to the window and asked, "are you sure there wasn't any bacon on the burger..." I'm not sure what else she intended on saying but I leaned across my daughter so I could see the cashier directly to ask her "are you kidding me!? Where the hell would it go?" I'm definitely too darn old to be stealing bacon!! She said something about "I'll have to give you a side of bacon..."If ì wasn't starving and had already bit the burger I would have simply asked for a refund because I wasn't going to have a debate about bacon they forgot to put on my burger. Then she handed me a cup with about 4-5 slices. Hopefully, that was to make up for the 2 slices that should have been on it to begin with!

I did not enjoy my experience tonight 2/27/2024.I did not received my correct order, upon asking for a remake the staff informed me that in order to have a replacement I would have to turn in the wrong burger, (which is understandable) however, I didn’t feel comfortable doing that because it would be thrown out which is wasteful. I then asked for a refund and the associate said there is a policy that doesn’t allow for refunds. I then asked for the manager 3 times, upon the manager on duty ”Juniesa” approached me with disrespect and with attitude. The rest of the staff began to make faces at me, laugh, and yell from the kitchen.We were told that the restrooms were closed for “maintenance” which I’m certain is against health code regulations. The real reason the bathrooms were closed was because they cleaned and didn’t want to re-clean them. So we had to walk across the street. Within 10 mins we then saw a guest go into the restroom and then confirm that it was operable.As I was exiting the store, they called my name to further discuss the order, I then reiterated that the order was not fulfilled correctly. The staff then proceeded to yell profanity over the intercom in the drive thru as I entered my car.
