Wow.. Feb 11th, perhaps the worst dining experience i have ever witnessed in 51 years. I really hate to rate a small business this bad, but Holy Smokes, was this a sheet show today.. Let me just say we are all about giving small town diners like this our business. Firstly, the short pleasant brunette waitress was very nice and the place was a little busy when we arrived..We even thought the table with the 3 screaming kids was part of the small town country charm. After getting a cup of coffee, the wheels fell off for this place. We ordered two omelettes and pancakes.. after 1.5 hours i watched another table get my wifes omelette (other table arrived after us), i never got mine,.. The same table of 4 got up and left (we didn't because i didn't have cash to leave for the coffees we drank).. we were given the presumably departing tables food that had already left just to start us off until our actual food arrived.. They made my wifes omelette probably 3 times to get it right (no cheese) and it was meh.. I never got my omelette. The 2 pancakes i got were perhaps thee absolute worst pancakes EVER (not exaggerating), they were thick, dry and terrible.. Needless to say, we were ready to go and paid the $40 breakfast bill with no complaints as it seemed pointless to kick a horse when their down.. and i only left a %15 tip cuz I genuinely felt bad for the lady. I noticed the owner reads reviews, and thats why im writing this one. If you want to make this experience right, let me know, I'd love to give you a chance to make things right... I think if you talk to your waitress, you will know I'm not exaggerating or embellishing things in the least.

Hopefully, this was just a bad day.We stopped for lunch on the way to Jacksonville. My wife's tuna melt was a cold mess. The bread had been toasted and sliced. Then a cold slice of cheese and cold tuna. The sliced toast did not even line uo top to bottom. The fries were partially cooked and cold.. She reassmble the sandwich and ate enough for us to hit the road. My Omelet was just ok. We will drive further down the road next time.

Sticky table and floors. Wait person was doing her hair for almost 30 minutes before taking our order. 2 people besides us sitting. Spraying hairspray all over behind the counter where the food and drinks are. So gross. Food not horrible, loved the real french fries. Otherwise, my sandwich was burned, but meat tasted ok. (French dip) Next the Patty melt wasn't melted at all lol. Drink machine was scary looking...Vegetarian options: French fries are homemade, not frozen.

Let me start by saying that I will give this place another chance. We visited this place on Christmas Eve while passing through. We called our order in and as soon as we walked in the door the lady was bagging our food, so perfect timing! Let me start by saying all the good things :-). It's a cute little diner and, although it was slow on Christmas Eve you can tell it's a local favorite spot with lots of memories made there. The iced tea was solidly good. I would have loved the option of a cup larger than 16 oz. My husband got the patty melt and we both agreed that it exceeded our expectations. The lady working that day was kind and friendly. I would go back just to see her again. Unfortunately... the fries were very undercooked. We opened the box before even leaving the drive and they were a mix of soggy on the outside but still a tad undercooked on the inside. The seasoning on the fries was on point though! The BLT made me pretty sad though. I think it only had two slices of bacon. But the wheat bread was fantastic quality and the tomato slice was good. We'll definitely stop in again next time we pass through and I'll try something else and ask for my fries well done and gladly update my review. Sorry I didn't take pics.

Their wifi was down so we couldn't order lunch. We went somewhere else for lunch.

This place is just outstanding, I guess it’s under new ownership. Everything on the menu hits just right. I would give it seven stars if I could.

If I could leave zero stars I would, I ordered a redneck BLT. When I received it, there was no bacon, the lettuce was watery brown. The mayo tasted old. The tomato was burnt. Fries were soggy not cooked all the way. I work for the food industry and it was definitely a food hazard, I would NEVER let anything like that go out of the door. They will be lucky if health department doesn't show up on Monday. Did not even offer a refund when I called, only offered to remake the food which I obviously said no to because why would I want food like that. 0/10.

It's a homey feeling there. Friendly staff and customers. Food was awesome. I was having a bad day and she made me feel better after I went back and gave her more tips. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to try it out!!!!!

Waited over an hour for our food, it was cold and terrible quality for the price, also most of the orders were incorrect. Service was awful, place was dirty. We were the only ones in there and no one seemed to care.

We are locals and haven't been back to this place since the name and ownership changed. I had the open faced roast beef with mashed potatoes and gravy and mac and cheese and my husband had the Reuben and fries. We were both shocked at how small the Reuben sandwich was for $15 not to mention what meat was there, was dry and stringy. You could barely see any sauerkraut or dressing. You could tell that the bread had come out of the freezer. The fries were soggy and greasy and hand cut. My mac and cheese was undercooked and the roast beef was chunks of what seemed to be stew beef. Overall the gravy was pretty good but again, for $15 a piece not including drinks, we just expected a little more.Even though it was only ourselves and one other gentleman in the restaurant, this did not preclude the owner from yelling across the restaurant several times to the servers. It kind of took away from the ambiance a little, lol. And when he yelled to her to "check the cheese", our mouths dropped.Sadly, we will not be back. We love to support local business but no one seems to succeed there and it seems to be a lack of consistency.

It's been 5 years since I've been here, and the place is so much nicer!!!Would loved to have had my Hashbrowns crispy like we both asked for, but they were the opposite. They were soggy ?My sister and I both ordered the Country Fied Stake, not the cook's fault, but whoever ordered the food for cheap stakes full of fat and Gristle in every bite ?There was only 1 waitress, but she was great ?But we felt bad for her, she ran all over helping everyone ?

2nd visit in the last month. Great both times I had the Reuben with sweet potato fries and SO had French toast, scrambled eggs, and crispy bacon. All was done to perfection. Service was fast and friendly, restaurant was clean.
