It's such a fun place to go to! My and boyfriend had a really great time! They have a variety of music from salsa, merengue, cumbia, and bachata. The dance floor isn't that big, and it is hard to find seating if you didn't call ahead and reserve. It's much more fun when a live band goes to play. But DJ is ok. Go! Even if you don't know how to dance because everyone has their own dance styles and you can really learn fast by observing!
I'm visiting my friend who lives here now and wanted to take her dancing. She is recovering from a stroke and uses a wheelchair. This club had enough space to maneuver and they were accommodating, until the group at the table in front of us blocked the main walkway with their tables and chairs. Extremely dangerous for all patrons! Otherwise, drinks were affordable, music was good, bathrooms were clean, nice crowd. Lots of couples so it was hard to find a dance partner. I love Amorama! Pros: AC works well which is important when you're dancing Not mega expensive Good music if you like old school Salsa Nice dance floor and you can dance on the side too Cons: Sometimes it hard to get a drink at the bar
