Giving this a rating in hopes that people find out this place is closed. We showed up ready to eat here, and everything was dark and there was a sign on the door (which I didn’t get to take a picture of). The staff at Anthony’s Pizza next door told us they were permanently closed. It sounded like they had some health and safety violations.

Great place to eat. It would be nice if they were open more days. Hours of operation to short. A bigger menus choice is always a plus in my book.

My sister Cindy and I went there for Charcuterie platter and I finally had a Creme' Brulee after waiting 20 plus years. It was Delicious with great Service. Clean, Relaxing atmosphere. Will be back.

Carmel Kitchen is my favorite restaurant in the Bay area! Whenever my partner visits from Tennessee, we always dine at Carmel. We both have many fond memories of lunches and dinners experienced here over the years. Excellent service, immaculate dining and bar area, delicious food, exquisite dining experience. Tonight, my partner and I celebrated our 20th anniversary. When we started discussing dining options, we both agreed: Carmel Kitchen!! The atmosphere is so pleasant and relaxing. Dining is available indoors or on the patio. We have enjoyed several nice meals on the patio. However, September in Florida means lots of heat and humidity, so we chose to dine inside. The menu is very diverse and inticeing, with salads, pasta, chicken and seafood options. I'm hooked (I should try something new!) on the Rustic Grilled Chicken! Absolutely delicious. In addition to the great food, there is a full service bar available for all your favorite "adult beverages and libations!" Carmel is perfect for all occasions. It's an excellent location to dine with friends, family and business associates. Last, but not least, I must give Janelle, our wonderful, friendly server, a huge "shout out " for providing exceptional service and making our anniversary celebration dinner so pleasant! Check it out...you'll love Carmel Kitchen!!!

We had brunch today. The server Sara just would not slow down long enough to answer our questions. So she rattled off what she thought we wanted to know, asked if we wanted water, we said no Water. Then she ran back with water . . . She just didn't listen to us at all. I understand being busy, but she even said that they were Not busy. So I don't know what the problem is. Our food was very good. So I can't give less than 5 stars for good drinks and food. The food came out quickly. The place was clean and not too loud for the exception of romper room going on in the corner. . . Not the restaurants fault.

The atmosphere there is great and the wait staff is A÷... we had appetizers and meals.I was upset when my burger that I ordered was supposed to be medwell and came out bloody and rare..the waitress immediately got a manager who wanted to have the cook make me another.. 1st my meal was already ruined 2nd why take chance on a 2nd mistake3rd the rest of the party of 5 was already done eating...The place is very good I'm sure but as a suggestion next time something like this happens..MAKE THE COOK COME APOLOGIZE FOR RUINING SOMEONE'S MEAL.. bet it won't happen again and teach them some humility...

Absolutely amazing food, great atmosphere and our server Ryan was outstanding! I had their butternet squash ravioli and the flavor was exceptional. The best chocolate cake I have ever had. If I could give 10 stars I would!

We recently visited this restaurant on their popular Tuesday $6 burgers night. The burgers are quite good, served with Manchego cheese plus a half order of fries, and the $6 price tag can't be beat. That said, I understand that in order for the restaurant to make any money, there would naturally be an upcharge for any substitutions -- say, mashed potatoes instead of fries, etc. However, when I asked for extra onions on my burger, the waiter sheepishly informed me that would be an additional $2.49 -- for essentially a tablespoon of onions... (We also asked for extra ketchup, and mercifully, we were not charged for that.) Is this a dealbreaker for us? Will we come back to Carmel Kitchen? I'm not so sure, as I don't like to feel like I'm being taken advantage of. But if we do, I won't be ordering the burger (not enough onions for my taste). I also want to point out that this is the last Carmel Kitchen in our area -- the two Tampa locations have closed. Maybe it's time management revisits their customer service policies?

My new favorite Caesar salad! The dressing is great & I love the Mediterranean flare! I added chicken to it & it was cooked & seasoned perfectly. I do wish they’d offer the option to add snapper or tilapia to the salad. (I’m not a fan of salmon) The meatballs with ricotta were also delicious. 3 large meatballs was a great appetizer for 2. It’s 2 large meatballs. Very tasty. Brussel sprouts were strange but delicious. (They’re shaved) the pasta primavera was also great. We added chicken to it. It was cooked perfectly. The Prices are reasonable. I’ve also tried the meatball flatbread, chicken Marsala & house salad. Everything is very fresh & well made. We generally just order delivery so I can’t comment on service. I can say every order has been well packaged & prepared exactly as we requested.. my only regret is not trying them sooner!!!

Literally so good & the ambience is perfect for a date or casual outing! I love the lighting and vibes but more importantly the food is always amazing & nicely portioned. The prix fix is a great deal as well as their creme brulee which i am a huge fan of! Every day has a different flavor and it's always fun to see what's in store when I walk in. The staff is friendly as well and I would recommend!

We had such a wonderful brunch here while we were in Tampa! They were pretty packed with reservations since it was Father's Day but we were able to beat the crowd and get a table outside. I had the lemon ricotta pancakes and they were delicious! There were pieces of lemon curd that made them slightly tart. They were HUGE so you could easily split between 2 people. The menu offers a variety of sweet and savory options. My friends enjoyed their meals and we all left happy and full. Ryan was a great server and always had a smile. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Good, amiable service. Water, bread, and selected appetizers came out quickly. Server got orders perfect. Steal frites and seasoned fries were excellent (should have ordered doubles). Will return.

Food was delicious. The portions are perfect. Service was excellent. Update 5/29/22.... Almost walked out do to the hostess being rude and off putting! Server showed up just in time and fixed the problem and the rest of the night was excellent. -3 stars

Went to try the $20 Table d'hôte and was disappointed on all fronts. Service was quick but cold. Chicken Marsala dry and stringy and Salmon was also dry and overcooked. Salads were ok. Won't be going back.
