The location is great, but honestly that is the best I have for this one! Our room was old and was not the cleanest. It was in need of many repairs also. The beach area is nice, but you have to pay extra for chairs and umbrellas even though you pay a resort fee. We loved walking the surrounding areas in the evening, but the property itself was not a place I would stay again.

5 out of a 5. Many visits to Fl but first time in Clearwater. My wife and I came for the Zac Brown Band consert and decided to stay a few extra days. Weather was perfect. Service was awesome. Kudos to Adnan at the frontdesk who greeted us at check in. Was looking out for our best interest and he was stop on. We had drinks on the beach at Tommys Tiki Bar and best drinks ever. Clean white sand, great for the kids to shell gather as there are tons on the shore line and in the dry sand. Life size chest se f and vallyball. They have jet skis too but i didnt try it out. Many other things to do. A good place to say and relax. We will be back.

Bad management, could be nice but I won't be returning. They accused me of staying there extra days even after I showed a boarding pass. I never reserved a longer stay. They even said I used the card to get in the room. If they need the 300 dollars that bad I could tell them what to do with it. Very sad for IHG because it reflects on them.

The common areas look nice. Front desk staff was hit-or-miss. A lady offers a “welcome drink” to guests who are in line for check in. That’s nice, but it’s a rum drink. She would give a hard time to guests who told her they don’t drink. Heard that a couple times. Our guest room was badly run down and in need of maintenance. The expensive resort fee doesn’t cover a beach chair which I would think would be the first thing it would cover at a beach hotel that controls such a huge area of beach. Nice location, but probably won’t be back.

Staff wouldn’t allow us to park our own car Sent us to a filthy room (see photos below) Made us load our luggage back on the cart & go to another room They also charged an additional $40 for resort fees on top of the additional $30 a night for valet (didn’t want them to park our car) but we had no choice to allow them & pay extra. Also they promised us non motorized sports to be included in our stay, however, they made an excuse to the level of winds as to why we couldn’t utilize the included rentals but tried to rent us jet skis. On the other hand there were people that were parasailing, paddle boarding and the advisory flag on the beach was green so it certainly did not make any sense. Finally, the beach chairs and acres on the beach that they mention is included in our stay was totally not true. They had tables & Adirondack chairs like any other hotel up close to the hotel not down on the beach. They tried to charge us an extra $75 for lounge chairs in front of the hotel on the beach. If I would have known we had to go through all of this and pay extra for everything they promised for no additional charges, we would’ve stayed Marriott instead. The staff were very rude (except Ezra the bellman was super nice & helpful). I’ve always stayed Hilton (vip member) and never had an issue until I visited this Hilton. For the first time we certainly were not treated as Hilton VIP members.

Booked for a 3 night stay. On arrival Valet was very rude and gave us mis information about parking. Entering the hotel it gives the appearance of being modern and clean but the rooms are extremely out-dated and in desperate need of renovation. The bathroom is tiny. Check in took a while due to only one member of staff on reception and after check in no information about the hotel or where to find our room was offered. Poor customer service here again. We were "upgraded" to a Marina view which in fact was the worst room for us as it overlooked the busy road and with the bar across from us playing loud music until 2am it didn't allow for us to sleep very well. Also some rooms are been renovated but this meant a lot of noise in the corridor us around during the day and very strong smells of paint etc. The hotel were unable to relocate us to a different room. Breakfast was limited and expensive in the hotel and the buffet is not longer offered. Save your money and go elsewhere for food. Starbucks is just below the hotel and there are plenty of other places in the near vicinity. The pool is warm, clean and sheltered enough from the wind that picks up at 3pm in the afternoon. Plenty of sunlounges and towels are available with the room. however watch out for mosquitos. Location of this hotel is excellent and close to Pier 60 and shops and restaurants. The beach is fantastic. I don't recommend a stay here until all the rooms are updated and the staff get a bit more training in customer service.

This place has a great location but hasn’t been updated in years. Furniture scuffed and bathroom grout looks old and dingy. Bathroom door looks bad- peeling paint. But worse than the room is the attitude toward customer service. They advertise a buffet but once we sat down for breakfast we found out they did not have it. They had expensive eggs and coffee that cost almost as much. $42 for 2 people. And no substitutions if you don’t eat meat. So eggs, coffee, toast, sausage for my husband and nothing for me. You could tell that the workers hear complaints about this- and yet they say nothing until they have poured your coffee- you are trapped. Save your money and go out to the street for a good breakfast for half the price. And if you have Hilton loyalty funds- use them for drinks. They don’t even cover this breakfast. When I complained at checkout- the girl could care less. She’ll tell the dining manager. I guess when the hotel is not full they don’t have breakfast buffet . Surely they could put a sign on the menu outside the restaurant- but then they couldn’t trap you for $42 eggs! So much for their Morton “we’ll make it right”. They couldn’t be bothered- or perhaps everyone complains. That could be yet another reason why this beachfront hotel was empty. Lots of choices at this price point. I won’t select this Hilton location again.

Another wonderful trip to Hilton Clearwater. This is my 3rd time this year and haven’t been disappointed yet. I *almost* stayed at a different beach hotel just to try something new but changed my mind last second. I am so glad I did bc the Hilton and its location is unmatched! We were on the 9th floor facing the pier. Even though the 9th floor balcony is not as nice as other floors bc it has a wall, it was just as beautiful for what our need was. We weren’t in the room much! Pool area was clean, staff was friendly and attentive (as usual) and even though we noticed they seemed to be short staffed, they still hustled and made sure the guests were happy. We ordered lunch at the pool twice and it came out so quick! The room was clean, well stocked and housekeeping came daily. The beach location cannot be beat! Clean, not crowded and great for walking. The staff are all so kind and regardless of their job, everyone makes you feel welcome and that they care you chose them! We encountered so many employees that were genuinely happy to help and ask how our stay is. I keep seeing negative comments about valet cost. It’s not uncommon to pay for parking! If you’re not used to traveling then maybe it’s a shock but every hotel I stay at charges daily parking. It even says it on their website. Luckily for us we don't rent a car and take an Ubers from airport :) I will be back for sure. Thanks Hilton!

- Information about valet is not clear; - hotel hás very dated room and terrible smell; - room is dirty with hair over my pillow; - room without windows and old Air conditioner making loud noise, it is impossible to breathe. Worst hotel from Hilton I have ever stayed.

Pretty disappointed in this resort. Room was expensive, have to valet park for $28 a day! Cost $110 for a cabana and two chairs, or $100 for an umbrella and two chairs. (Better off walking across the street to Walgreens and buying chairs and an umbrella). No access to drinking water on the beach unless you buy an expensive bottle of water. (Walgreens has water!) Hotel needs work- definitely dated. I picked our room via the Hilton app and didn’t get it. Ended up in a room 1 mile from the lobby! Location is at pier 60 so very busy and touristy, but there is a lot to do.

The hotel is older but it’s still very nice. It’s centrally locate and walking distance for restaurants and shops. The pools are still a focal point for any guest, along with the pool area restaurant. And before I forget to mention, the Tiki Hut is an excellent place to have Mango Margarita, and to watch the sunset. We experienced a bit of a throwback disappoint when we were told we had to move our pool chairs to allow for wheel char access, of which there were none. I wanted to say the following but decided instead to include it in my review. I wanted to say, I saw the sign at the entrance to the pool area. It said no saving chairs, no coolers, no music, but I didn’t see anything mentioning do not move the chair or that I must move for wheel chairs that are nonexistent at this moment. If a wheelchair would come, I would have gladly adjusted my chair and even assist the person in the wheelchair. Let’s not make a problem before one exists. Let’s not take the Hilton back to the pool police wearing mirror glasses and staring guests down. The Hilton in our way of thinking is by and away the best hotel on Clearwater Beach, so let’s keep it that way.

I decided to write this review to help other vacationers and also to see if Hilton really uses the feedback because in that case it will gain new customers and not the opposite. I travel a lot and have been in all types of hotels. After my stay I don't think I will come back to this or any other Hilton hotel. Why? 1. overpriced for the quality of the product. * The only part is worthing the price: the beach( they do not invest on it since it is nature and it is public) and LOCATION*** the second positive thing, you can walk everywhere restaurants, bars, stores, beach and etc. 2. overpriced: the rooms!!! and the parking is $29 daily but you have to wait forever to get your car if you need it since it is Valet and they work very disorganized using some radios to communicate each-other….they expect a tip when you wait more than 15 min and the car is right there in front of us. ( one night we gave up waiting they said there was a line and the car was in its way we walked to the parking lot and our car was there , nobody had moved it… ) 3 . Overpriced:The WORST -we pay resort fee $35 and in the beach area that the hotel calls -private beach which is public BTW- they charge you $90 for 2 chairs(old and uncomfortable) and 1 umbrella( medium and old) they place them far away from the front line of the beach. In the public beach few steps from the hotel the fees are $45 for 2 chairs and 1 umbrella. Hilton is DISRESPECTFUL.***with its guests 4. Tiki Bar car driving around the beach: drinks have no alcohol and are $15-18 each one— Beers $10 5- Rooms- the worst i have been inn years It is an INN room. small, old furniture. you do not have the make up extra mirror that most of hotels have nowadays. Lights very low not enough in the bathroom. not enough space.no microwave. 6- Pillows- Horrible bad quality, expired(bed was ok) 7. Bad smell in the room. 8- Room was not clean enough: the pink color of humidity in the shower when we got the room (arriving at 7pm) , walls were dirty, floor was dirty, 9. Furniture in the lobby broken ugly old and overused 10. The lobby smelled good, really good 11. Front desk personnel super nice and polite. Smiling all the time and helpful 12. Breakfast : Great/ Waiters/Waitresses were all super attentive and kind 13. Beach bartender the blonde hair young guy very rude and not even washed his hands but also did not open the beers while the lady was super nice and opened our beers kindly. 14. another positive: security was good you only get in the facilities if you have the wrist band to open the gates. Very convenient. 15 Check in ( keyless) using the app very good 16.Toiletry cheap but enough. Beach towels were available all day 17. No water or refreshment like in other resorts that they serve them for free to the guests since we have this heat wave around the country but Hilton only cares about getting your money 18. Lobby bar- the lady bartender (mid age) working Saturday night is rude and ignores some customers (according to her choice)( no idea her parameters) but I was ignored for 15 minutes and. she said she was training a new girl. incredible! ** TIPS: bring beach chairs and umbrella if still you decide to book this hotel *** Do not expect the basic quality in a room *** Location is the only very positive feature of this hotel *** Another good* The Spa -We chose a couples massage the Signature massage. They were great and the front desk girl super polite and resourceful. I had a hair cut too and the girl was amazing*** Again, OVERPRICED!!!! I wont recommend it to my family or friends and I wont come back to this hotel. Overpriced. this is an old hotel with similar prices to new 4/5 stars hotels. They are charging customers for the location because this place has not seen a renovation or update in years…. It is a shame for Hilton!

The worst experience ever staying with my family there for two nights. Our room was infested with cockroaches, and we moved to another room with the same problem. I brought the issue to management and was credited and moved one door down to another infested room. Called corporate and they did nothing because I booked through a third party really are you serious. I had to come home and strip down and wash everything so I wouldn't bring any cockroaches home. I have never experienced such a horrible experience and the amount of money I spent on your better stay at a Motel 6 or elsewhere is a horrible experience I will never stay or recommend this resort to anyone. My stay was ruined

Nice hotel, great location near Pier 60, staff was great! Tez at the valet service was especially great. While others stood around, not doing their jobs, Tez was very professional & customer-oriented. Front desk staff was nice enough to upgrade our room for my wife's birthday (after a little nudging). Like most hotels, they do try to fee you to death. So if you plan to stay at the pool or beach after check out, ask to have your vehicle moved out of the garage, so they don't charge you by the hour. And like a lot of busy hotels, the elevators are a nightmare, so be patient & try to avoid needing to use a luggage cart or you'll never be able to get on an elevator. I was a little surprised with the elevator delays, as this is more commonplace for large tower condos of 30+ floors. But this place was only like 9 floors. But everything considered, it was a great stay.

The location is nice. It’s super confusing to get around to the restaurants. The little shop with snacks and drinks wasn’t open often. The biggest rip off is the beach chairs and cabanas. I was really disappointed. Tip— go to Walgreens and buy your own. You’ll get closer to the water that way also. Close to restaurants and east walking. The room was clean. It’s not fancy. But it works
