My husband and I have been here twice and the food was excellent. The seafood boils are flavorful and the desserts are really good. The portions are a good size for the price, and the staff is friendly. We went last night for dinner as our second time going (we hadn’t been in three years because we moved out of the local area) and the quality and portion sizes of food was just as great as the first time that we went. We did hear (and I hope there is reconsideration in this because this place is a gem in Clearwater with excellent food) that the cook has been talking about retiring. I can only hope that this does not mean the end of the restraint down the road. The crispy Cajun is one of the best, and affirm seafood restaurants in Clearwater.

My husband, toddler and I tried Crispy Cajun for the first time for lunch today and it was excellent! The food was fresh, tasty and big portions for low price! The Gumbo was amazing! The staff was great and we loved that this is a local business! We will definitely be back to support and to try more yummy food!

A friend recommended this spot to me and it did not disappoint! He told me get the fried chicken because everything else isn't as great. Put simply this is great fried chicken , crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside perfectly cooked. The fried okra was pretty good but I felt it needed a tad more seasoning. Definitely try them out if you have a chicken fix

It was adequate, way too much rice for a $16 dinner. I wish I used the bathroom and sat down before I ordered, the bathroom and the restaurant were filthy. It was more like a gas station cleaning job than a restaurant. I don't know how people live in their home, but this is not acceptable in a restaurant.

Really nice little family owned place serving wonderful Cajun food. We've been coming here since it first opened years ago. I think it's primarily a take-out place, but there's room to dine in and we do sometimes, if only to chat with Nickie, the owner. Also, the portions served are ABUNDANT! You won't leave hungry!

Did was excellent as always. We got an appetizer of calamari and dinner was the red beans and rice with andouille special and an oyster po boy. The po boy was crispy, but not overcooked. The red beans and rice filled the container and weighed a lot! The sausage was perfectly spiced. The calamari was crispy, and served with sides of cocktail and remoulade sauces.
This place is awesome. The family owner operator are just nice people. This is not health food, but it is awesome food. The chicken they use are enormous. The breast is bigger than my hand. I'm a fat old (200 lb) man and I could not finish a 2 piece dinner. Looking forward to trying the rest of their extensive menu. I went here for a Saturday lunch. Apparently they do catering as well. The was a table full of food awaiting someone's party.

This is not a fancy place, at all, but the crayfish/crawfish and crab was delicious! The owner, cooks know what they are doing. Nice and helpful people. Tasty and juicy seafood. Corn on the cob overcooked, but that's not what I came for. Call ahead to see what's in season and available.
