This is what happens when you don’t pay your employees properly and instead you transfer your obligations to the client. I refuse to this “tip” madness, $9 of tip is ridiculous for any fast food restaurant I don’t care how cool they think they are, is not a surgical procedure, it’s coffee machines and microwave. They messed up my order, now I think it was on PURPOSE because I didn’t leave $9 tip. PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES PROPERLY!!!

I had a nice experience at this Starbucks location. I pre-ordered a caramel macchiato on the app. I was able to find a street spot right in front of the cafe, which wasn't busy so my drink was ready when I got there. The staff was friendly, which is hard because I just ran into grab the drink and go, but they made sure to look up and welcome me. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is the drink was about $2 more than a stand alone Starbucks not in a hotel. I used to work in hotels and understand they definitely mark things up but up-charging an already expensive Starbucks drink by $2, bringing one medium drink to almost $10 is a bit much.

Probably the worst Iced Coffee I had of all Starbucks in the US. Employees seemed not caring about my question when I asked them about it..
This Starbucks is located in the Marriott Residence Inn directly across from Surf Style, about a block away from the beach. Parking is a challenge here, but it’s great for foot traffic. The location is great, inside and outside seating, mobile ordering available, plenty of staff, so there was very short wait time. They’re open very early at 6:00 AM, but also close early, at 6:00 PM.

I requested a refund for the iced caramel macchiato that I ordered and surely the staff ended up charging me double. I spoke to staff member Johnny to correct this and sure enough it was never corrected. Therefore instead of being charged once for there weak coffee, even after giving it back and requesting a refund, I was charged double for one product that I never consumed. Beware of the incorrect billing at this place.

Store was filthy. Staff drinking beverages at the register which is a violation of the health code. They forgot to use oat milk in my frappe but remade it which was nice.
