Easily one of the best secrets in Clearwater... nope, Pinellas County. You will absolutely miss the turn your first time coming here. It shares a wall with a Laundromat. Their Pastor Tacos are my favorite tacos in Pinellas County. They are served with cilantro and onion on top (don't ask for cheese - they may look at you weird as one of my friends found out). The enchiladas con asada is also stunning!!! The meat is perfectly tender, the enchiladas come with either red or green sauce (I suggest the green), as well as homemade refried beans and rice. Y'all - I was tempted not to post anything here because it's such a great spot and I kind of wanted to keep it to myself. Shhhhh, don't tell anyone!

Banelly Taqueria gave us some amazing food. Quesabirrias!!!! And Tacos Al Pastor!!! very good food and nice service. We had lunch from them and barely kept ourselves from going back for dinner takeout. However, Quick advice, go online for their menus or use their app and order takeout so that you don’t have to wait inside for your food. It is a taqueria which is traditionally a street food vendor for counter service. It was warm inside and one of their drink coolers was very loud while we waited on our order. Don’t judge the quality of their food or service by this.

I ordered chips and salsa, I ordered french fries. I got my order and went to the car. It smelt like burnt popcorn. I tasted the chips, they were burnt black. They all tasted burned and were hard. The girl refused to refund my money at first, went in the back and then came out and gave me $.50. So I’m gonna give a $.50 opinion on this place. It isn’t worth $.50 don’t waste your time. It’s dirty, they are rude, and their food is clearly old.

This place was amazing but keep your head on a swivel it is easy to miss. Great food a service. Tacos were very well filled and tortillas were amazing. This is by far our new spot.

I was in a mood for tacos but didn’t want to drive to Tampa to get Lolis (my favorite local place). Tried this restaurant out and wow the steak tacos were great! The green sauce that came with them (sort of a lime sauce with a little bit of spice) was great too. Will definitely be back

Amazing authentic Mexican food. The guacamole was probably the best guac I've ever had. Everything was perfect. I ordered steak and chicken fajitas. Loved it. Would totally recommend. ?

We got steak tacos, a quesabirrias meal, and rice. The food was really good! Tacos came with onions, cilantro, and radish. We added green salsa and it was really good (although a little watery for my taste). The soup that came with the quesabirrias meal was excellent as well. when you go there, look for the laundromat because this place is super tiny. I drove straight past the first time.

I had a hard time delivering my many thanks over the phone, so I’ll add it here. I’m not feeling well and ordered a couple of items to see what I could eat. Everything was so amazing and literally spread it out over breakfast lunch and dinner. I wish the chips were a little thinner, but it’s nice that they are freshly made! The strawberry fresca was packed with strawberries! And, their green sauce was perfection! I’m definitely add this shop as a comfort food staple! Definitely 5 stars!

I don’t know who is leaving these reviews that get places like this to four stars but for the life of me I’d have rather gone hungry. Got a steak burrito, simple enough order, and on the first bite immediately tasted whatever old rancid oil they used to cook it. This is not only the worst food I’ve ever had it’s an insult to call it authentic Mexican.

Just spent $40 on food here and everything is extremely BLAND. I’d rather eat warm plastic.Beans were bland.Salsa was super bland. Especially the green salsa.Meat was super bland. No taste. The only thing good here was the rice.I’d say go somewhere else.Banelly, please fix this problem, add some salt at least….but even then, salt isn’t going to fix how bland everything was.

Had craving for authentic Mexican street tacos after leaving the beach and this place hit the spot! Their tortillas are fresh made, we had the steak, chicken, pastor and campechano tacos, also an elote Service was friendly and helpful with questions. You pick your own drinks out of the fridge, which is a bit noisy but honestly I tuned it out soon I took my first bite of food. Will be back for our next beach trip.

This is the best restaurant I have been to in the Tampa area. it is small although the waitress is the best and the food is absolutely the best!!! La mas mejor servicio y comida!!!! Es muy auténtica y el sabor es muy rico.

Unfortunately, this was the worst "Authentic Mexican" I've ever had in my life. I ordered at 1030 am and they open at 10. I ordered Flautas w/rice & beans and a street corn. The Flautas we're entirely too over cooked, the chicken inside was so dry it wasn't even edible. The beans were soupy and the rice was dry with no flavor. The corn on a stick had so much tajin seasoning and lime on it I had to wipe it off with a napkin before attempting to eat it. The best thing about the meal was the little cup green sauce included. I was so disappointed and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, at all.

Hands down, this be my number one spot for authentic Mexican food. Quality, Flavor, prices, serving size, and friendly staff. Gorditas are my go to. Amazing choices for meats or vegetarian fillings. Truly a gem in the area.
