This is down home, comfort food at its finest. They serve the classics and your favorites. I love free pie on Wednesday nights and all you can eat fish fry on Friday. It's also very inexpensive for such quality food. I love the simplicity of it all. Good food at a good price.

This restaurant has some serious difficulties that need to be addressed.First, service was VERY slow. It took three of us 35 minutes to get our breakfast of pancakes and eggs for two in our party and an omlet for the third person.Second, the cleanliness of this restaurant had some serious issues. We were given a dirty table that was never wiped down even after we sat down. When our syrup was delivered, the container had dried sticky runs all down it. The floor had trash and tracked in debris all over it.Third, the bacon and/or eggs were old. We left the restaurant and within 30 minutes all had severe upset stomachs. None of us ate more than half our food. In fact, one of our party vomited every few minutes during our 2 hour drive home. She finally felt better about 10 minutes from our exit. And finally, fourth, the politeness of the server and of the male cashing us out was non-existent. We were treated as if we were a chore to serve.I used to LOVE eating at Village Inn. Now, I doubt I will ever return to one.

We told the waitress we do not eat pork. She wrote down the order and made a note on the order, NO PORK. My husband had already begun eating when he spotted a piece of ham in his potatoes. Needless to say, he lost his appetite. The waitress was very nice about it, said she would speak to her manager. Then came back, apologized again and took out my husband's order on the receipt. We paid and left. We don't eat pork for religious reasons which are noticeable because of the way I dress. I hope that piece of ham was not put there on purpose by someone from the kitchen.

It's been so long since I've had delicious hash browns, pancakes and a omelette in a restaurant. My brother was in town from 2000 miles away. We picked Village Inn as we were driving by. I'm so glad we did. We dined there twice during his short visit because their food, portions and service was so good. Can't wait to go back and try their strawberry rubarb pie.?

Village inn, since I have decide to try to start eating healthier (mostly) I decide to try something different; oat meal, fruit, yogurt, and cinnamon apples with orange juice. Service was wonderful, I was checked on several times by my waitress never ran out or really low on drink. I was considering have a slice of pie but ended up completely full.

A few of us at the office placed an order at the Gulf-to-Bay Clearwater location for pickup. Our orders were 100% correct and arrived with ample, butter, syrup, salt, pepper, etc. included. Everything was delicious. I strongly recommend the pumpkin pancakes if you happen to visit during the holiday season. We were all very pleased.

I haven't been here for a while, I have not been in the neighborhood they did not do anything they did wrong. The restaurant was clean and service prompt. The contents of my meal were a bit different than I remembered but it was very good. I will definitely be returning.

Came for Free Pie night. Server was very nice and on top of everything. She even remembered Grandfather's order and hadn't seen him for a year. Very sweet. Food was hearty portions. Had BLT, Burger, and Potroast. Food came out timely and pie was delicious too!

Jess is our server & she, as well as Rosie the Manager, the cooks, & cashiers have all made our weekly gatherings at the Village Inn memorable! Thank you for making us feel so welcomed & remembering what we all drink by our 2nd visit! You guys are the best, thanks! We love the great service, food, large selection of food choices you offer, carry out, your friendliness, quick turnaround time, prices, spacious atmosphere, you are caring, kind & patient, don’t ever make excuses, & just know how a restaurant should be ran! I’ve had things like your bacon, lettuce, tomato & Avocado sandwich, Belgium waffles, country fried chicken, to other types of breakfast items as well. Everything has always been excellent! Your pie always looks delicious but I’m so full after eating dinner I can’t quite bring myself to order a piece! I will though!

Came here yesterday after not being here for several months. And the food was fantastic whoever the chef is he is great. Food wasn't great in the past when they were open during covid. But it has improved greatly

My friends wanted to go for Pie Night. I remember not being really fond of their food so I ordered a cheeseburger because cheeseburgers are hard to mess up. When I picked my cheeseburger, it bleed out, it was so disgusting. A stream of grease, blood, and maybe water poured out of my cheeseburger. It left a puddle on my plate. My dining companions were grossed out. It was not undercooked, there was only the tiniest amount of pink in the center. But the meat was grey like it had been boiled instead of grilled. It had no browned surfaces on it. It did not taste good either. I did not want to cause a fuss, I put lots of condiments on it but it just did not taste good. When the waitress came she asked how I liked my food, I said it tasted funny. She offered to replace it but the people I was dining with were almost ready for pie. I told her to bring me anything that was fast. She brought a pot pie. It was pretty good. Based on the burger, I would have only given it one star but the waitress was so helpful, funny, and entertaining. The pies were really good. Peanut butter pie, five stars. Lemon Supreme pie 4.5 stars Waitress 5 stars. Cheeseburger no stars I would try them again, I may call the manager and ask him why the cheeseburgers sucked so much. He needs to fix that.
