The food here is great. Fresh, great portions. The fries and pork sandwich was really good. I had my fries Crispy. The bun is grilled to perfection. The nachos with pork on top really good too. The portion size was big. Will definitely be back here even if we drive from Northport, fl. When we are in the area we will come back. Prices are great also. Pics are after a few bites. LolWe didn't eat in so I didn't rate the atmosphere.

This has to be one of the worst BBQ restaurants I’ve ever been in. I had their ribs and brisket and both were dry and tasteless. They chop their brisket as if it were pulled pork. Maybe they do that because if it came sliced, as it should be, it would be too tough and dry to eat. At least chopped you can smother it in sauce to rehydrate it! The ribs were dry also, over rubbed, and tasteless requiring ample sauce to make them edible.

The food was tasty but the price was too much for a counter ordering restaurant with no ambiance. We were surprised at what they called a 20 oz. beer. The plastic cup was very small so I took the cup home and measured its volume. The cup measured exactly 20 oz. to the very top and we all know that they do not fill a cup to the top without expecting major spillage. I would guess that at best it was a 19 oz or less cup of fluid. I see it as false advertising. The second thing that irritates was the request for a TIP before our meal was served and by the way, this was a place where I ordered from the counter and bussed my own table. Do they not understand the meaning behind the word TIP and that it is a reward for good service from a server. No server at this restaurant.

Oh boy, do things get pricy and fast. The meat here was all good, everyone in the party from kids to adults were in complete agreement on that. The French Fries were sadly not a hit. One kid ate them because they were fries and that's half of what he eats, but the 10 year-old was more discerning and did not. None of the adults liked the fries at all. Also, the Mac ans Cheese left a lot to be desired. The adults all liked more Mac than cheese, and this didn't fit the bill as it seemed more like a cheese soup than a pasta side. The potato salad was good and we ordered some to go as well. Good meat, inconsistent sides - but that's up to you to decide how you like it all. Overall, pretty darn good.

This is the second time I tried the bbq at Ellie's and I will not be returning. Last week I tried the brisket, turkey platter with green beans and side salad. Very disappointing. I threw most away because of how dry and bland the taste was. The only good thing was the mini corn bread muffins it came with. I am disappointed I wasted 18$ on bbq that was not edible.

Food quality and service were good. The place smelled smokey like a BBQ but the meats were bland and flavorless with no smoked flavor. Very disappointing.

We had dinner here tonight and I was so surprised and very pleased with the food. I don’t care much for standing in line to order, but I get that good help is hard to find. I enjoyed my Bama sandwich, the beans are probably some of the best I’ve had. Loved the potato salad and slaw. Needless to say? I will be back!!

This is a great restaurant with a nice quiet ambience and the service here is great because it's self-serve besides getting the food and the food is the best part about it and I always get the pool chicken sandwich

Had the Oklahoma smash burger with french fries. The fries were well seasoned except a little heavy on salt however they cooked perfectly and hot when they arrived at table. The burger was great tasting. You could taste each part of the burger which was very flavorful. The burger too was well cooked. I enjoyed a glass of ice tea with the meal. The tea was well prepared. I was shocked at the total cost. I will return to try their BBQ! As an old school BBQ taster we will see how they hold up. Service was fast and polite.
