Went in craving red velvet cake but opted for pistachio cake, the flavor itself was pretty good. But the icing swirl on top was not, it tasted like stale confectioners sugar. I actually gave this place a go initially using door dash. My cake was very stale (Black forest? Which they currently dont offer), I love bfc normally, but not theirs. I was hoping this visit would redeem them for me..the jury is out. I was not too keen on how everything was in the same box and so everything was sticking to each other, mixing flavors. To be very fare, my palate is very sensitive to flavors,especially when something is stale and as a baker, I know when ingredients are not at their freshest. If I'm craving a sweet in the future there is a mild possibility that I may return since they have several options, but probably not.

Wife and I got 4 things from this place and every single one of them tasted like chemicals, I don’t know if they didn’t rinse the pans and equipment properly before baking or if they get these from a factory. Definitely not worth the price they sell it for. They did help the customers in front of us and seemed very nice so I’ll leave it a 2 star

The lady who owns the place claimed she thought it would be better if it was like a regular cake since it was for our 1 year anniversary. This cheesecake cost us $70, almost $100 and this is how they responded to us spending that much. They asked us no questions, just assumed what we wanted. ALWAYS amazing food and amazing owners. We have been coming since technically before they opened, like when they were still moving stuff in .Since then, we have frequented as regulars and locals. The Gelato is homemade and amazing, the cheesecakes are brilliant, so many different flavors of both! Try the creme Bru le cheese cake if you get lucky enough to still see some left when you visit. The coffees are to die for, try the white girl it's delicious! Or the grench if you're feeling not so festive! Oh and absolutely do not under any circumstances, miss out on the food!!! Outside of being the best bakery in the area, Hugh can really throw down in the kitchen, ask him for a burger and your life will be changed forever. The ox tail is absolutely amazing, and the breakfast oh dear lord the breakfast is just so so good. This place will absolutely ruin you for local food as you just won't get anything near this good anywhere else. Enjoy! You really cannot go wrong regardless of what you get.

New to Florida. Found this gem yesterday. Purchased a pastry filled with cream & topped with fresh strawberries. It was wonderful. Also bought a loaf of bread which made great toast this morning. I think I’ll be going to the library more as it’s a few doors away and an excuse to stop in here again!
