We enjoyed this restaurant while staying at the Beachside hotel. Duck Dive has a great island vibe with a walk up window to order drinks and food. The mahi sandwich was great and my wife absolutely loved the tacos. Not sure why but they didn't have tartar sauce. The food was very expensive but I guess that's the price you pay for convenience. Will definitely dine here next time we are in town.

Stayed at Beachside resort for the Jiu-jitsu camp. Ate at duck dive a couple times. I was super impressed with Monica. It was 8pm, they were super busy. She never showed any signs of being frustrated or under pressure. I was very impressed.

I’m not sure how you could rate this place less than four stars. Our family of 6 ate lunch both days and dinner both nights we were here. We had different servers each of the two nights. Both nights were slammed with patrons and big orders. Every encounter we had was perfect. I looked around and saw a few eye rolls from patrons not wanting to wait 20 min for their food, sure. Don’t be those people and you’ll have a great experience. You’re in paradise! On our last night here, Monica was the only server/bartender and I counted over 40 people ordering while I was there. Monica handled it like a pro and kept a smile on her face the whole time. The food came out great and the drinks were perfect. If you don’t experience this place because of a couple of whiny reviews from some sour people, then there’s plenty of fast food options nearby. Enjoy!

We love this place!!! It's the bar attached to the Beachside Suites and they have an awesome lazy river and walking distance to everything!

We stayed at the hotel last November. Been there many times in the past. Had food and drinks from the Duck Dive, all was good. We'll be there again in two weeks and so looking forward to it. We always stay here before a cruise

While we didn't order any food, the drinks we ordered were great. They were fresh, well balanced, and reasonably priced for the quality.

So convenient. Great fries and good service. Wasn't open for very long. Longer hours would be great and convenient for guests of the hotel.

Yeah, so this restaurant & bar is okay. The inside is crowded. It was so hectic. They had a bingo game, but it wasn’t really set up and was just off in one corner, but they would be loud about calling numbers. So, if you weren’t playing it was a nuisance to try and talk or have any conversation because of the closeness of everything. Not only that, they also had music playing, making it hard to hear anything. If you chose to sit outside by the pool, you risk getting sand thrown into your food. It’s right by the sand/pool area, with no lifeguards and no regulation. Sure they have posted “pool rules” but they don’t enforce them. People were jumping all over the lazy river, throwing tubes and sand, bringing pool water into the sand pit, etc. IT WAS A MESS!The food that we tried was a chicken sandwich, a hamburger, tacos, and fries. The sandwiches were combos that came with bagged chips. So we decided to order some fries on the side to share. The combos came with water. The chicken sandwich was extremely bland. On the surface, it looks like a delectable set of meals, but after tasting them, that wasn’t the case. The bread was so dry, it crumbled when I bit into it. The tacos were the same story. But, I was told the burger was okay. The fries were also just okay. Not really seasoned or salted. The Doritos, well you can never go wrong with some Doritos. But this set me back $60, which is pretty absurd considering we really only got 2 sandwiches, 2 tacos, and a small fry. Sure we got Doritos and a cup of water, but that’s pretty unsubstantial. It definitely isn’t the worse, but I wouldn’t come back and spend money here unless they change their quality or quantity of food, or the prices of their items.

$8 rum punch but $4-6 would be a much fairer price. $8 for two tacos I had my hopes up but they made taco bell look absolutely heaven sent.

We enjoy watching people sing Karaoke so showed up at 6:30pm on a Friday night. We were immediately disappointed in the atmosphere, which resemble more of hospital cafeteria than a bar. We sat at the table for five minutes or so and decided the menu didn't suit us, and we left. No one spoke to us the time we were there. Very brightly lit and smelled of bleach (which means it had been cleaned at least).

Food was excellent. Get the beef nachos. Variety of drinks. My husband said the cheeseburger was the best in Cocoa Beach.

Let me start by saying there are many good things about this hotel. The location can't be beat. About 2min walk to the beach. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was nice and clean with plenty of tubes to float in. The sandy area for kids is also very cool. The week-end outdoor movie night was really fun too and played a fairly new movie. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices and good Covid procedures of handing out gloves and masks. The Bad- If you want to take advantage of any of the free beach rentals (which is a cool idea) you better get there before 8:00am because they will all be gone. Mask wearing indoors such as the office are not enforced in any way. (if this is a plus for you...well there you go). I think they must sell day passes to the pool on the weekends because Saturday evening in the pool was just nuts. PACKED with people without the "wristbands" they give to guests The ugly- The 50+ signs on the property that say No Smoking are also not enforced in any way shape or form. In the first hour we were there I saw no less than 6 people smoking. At the pool, right in front of the bar, right in front of the rooms in front of the pool. I mean everywhere....and they had a security guard at the pool so it's not like nobody noticed. The worst was the bar/restaurant. We waited 20 mins in line at the outdoor bar at 7:00 on a Saturday for service. We were only the 3rd person in line and after 15 mins the 2nd person in line left. It seems the first person in line ordered 2 pizzas and then just stood there for the entire time it took to cook them. The woman behind the counter never asked him to step aside to take other orders or even looked our way. When we mentioned it she said "Oh, I didn't see anyone behind him!" There was a line 10 people long for 20 minutes. She didn't see any of us?? She was also super surly about it. She literally didn't care one bit and made it quite obvious. I tried coming back later just to get a sprite for my child while watching the movie and waited another 10 mins just for that. The next night it says the bar is open until 8:00 and when we came to the pool after dinner at 6:00 it was already closed. The drinks and food were good so hopefully you won't have the terrible experience we did. Overall though the experience was a happy one and we had a good time in the area and I would still recommend this as a place to stay. Maybe go across the street to the mini golf place for drinks...

Gross from the moment that we walked in the room. Non-smoking room with a wall of smoke that greeted us when we walked in. Call down to the front desk and they sent deodorizer up. There was no other rooms available to switch to. Beds were comfortable and the pool was clean I have to give them that. There was vomit on the curtains, dirt and hair on the bathroom floors, buildup of urine on the bottom of the toilet, white flaky build up inside the fridge, white crusty matter on the pillow, dirty microwave, overall very unsanitary room. A clump of black hair was stuck to the nightstand table and wrapped around the phone cord. For $200 a night you expect a little more. These rooms are very unsanitary and disturbing to say the least. No maid service available. . Thank goodness that I brought my own bed sheets and a tub of Clorox wipes. We would’ve left but everything was filled up due to the shuttle launch. I will never go back nor would I iadvise anyone to stay there.
