We stopped today for lunch. Had the crab cake sandwich and a drink each. Paying $20 to park made this an extremely expensive, below average lunch. We would not recommend this place to anyone. There should be some means to have parking refunded if you're eating at the restaurant.

We read reviews and saw alot of reviews said it was average. After paying $20 to park next to the pier, we wanted to hang up there a while and decided to give it a shot. It was very windy but still enjoyed eating on the dock. Our server was great, food and drinks came quick, even though it looked like they had to take a walk to get it to us. We ordered a california roll, which was a little warm for my taste and only had low sodium soy sauce available...i like my salt. When our food got to us, my crab cake sandwhich was good, and my husbands j*** chicken bowl was cold. At best we agreed that it is indeed average, and learned my lesson today.

We drove from the Cape on a friends view and it was great. The view is fantastic as was the service. Waitress was very nice and friendly. Food was hot and correct. The place was very busy but one of the guest saw I was having trouble with legs and came to help me. That is the great thing about the south. People help people. We also bought shirts an d hats.

We had a very enjoyable dinner at Pier 62 (Aug 9/23). Great view in a nicely renovated establishment since our last visit. Wife had the Grouper sandwich, I had the Jumbo shrimp and both were very good. It was a bit busy at the time but our super friendly server Angela was on top of it….and always had a smile. Great meal and service. Thanks!

This place has a great view. Unfortunately you have to pay $20 to park to get to it. The fish dip was very good. Shrimp tacos were not. Bland. Fries were good. My grandson loved the pork sandwich and the sushi.

Do not recommend. Family of 7, my son took a friend. The friend doesn’t eat anything except chicken tenders and fries for dinners. The only option they had for that was a kids 12 and under. When I explained the situation and he was only a 15 year old boy, I was told by our server and the manager “”it’s our policy. We cannot serve chicken tenders to anyone over 12” They refused to allow him to order the only thing he eats. Instead, they let a child sit there and only eat fries with the rest of our family for dinner. If I hadn’t had four other children, and one being a hungry and irritable two year old, we would have went elsewhere. $117 dollar bill before gratuity and they wouldn’t allow an exception for chicken tenders. Not alcohol. Not something illegal. CHICKEN TENDERS. With no option for an adult meal at all. They had the chicken tenders there, and refused to serve them to a 15 year old child. If an establishments manager will allow a child to only eat fries because of a ridiculous policy, I have to question what type of morals he lacks. Pure disgust and this place should be ASHAMED!

Thr parking was $20 and it was a pier with just resturant, after eating we walked out to end and couldn't really walk around because of tables of people eating. We ate inside. I got a burger which was good but the fries were not. My son got the gator patty and he eats anything and he only ate half. Not worth the money and couldn't really enjoy the pier.

Pier 62 Oceanfront Restaurant & Bar, 401 Meade Ave., Cocoa Beach, FL 32931 2.5 Stars From translucent skin due to the maderisation of the Snow Birds to the dazed hangover look, the Cocoa Beach Pier has been a mainstay in Brevard County or over 50 years. Long known as a tourist trap the random name generator forces me to wade into the morass of broken dreams and forgotten vacation promises. Pier 62 boasts “a wholly new concept with a brand-new menu. I must say the inside was spotless and the place did have a “new” feel to it. Zuko is our waiter today—he is perfect for a tourist town. He has the banter, the easy smile and the foresight to keep the tables moving at a quick, but not rushed pace. Zuko is an early entrant into the 2Q best service list, which comes out in one month. Stay tuned! I asked Zuko for one Shrimp Po' Boy with a side of slaw, one Beach Burger and a Kahakai Taco with grouper. Awaiting the return of Zuko with our subsistence, I snapped the obligatory pics of the interior and settled in. It wasn't all that long of a wait before Zuko returned laden with our fare. The Shrimp Po' Boy, a traditional Southern sandwich was not at all tasty. I've said it a million times and I will say it a million more, “Any sandwich begins with the bread.” A delicious base is a must for a truly delectable sandwich. This bread was a few days past it's freshness date and had the dry taste of a cardboard box. No wait, that's an insult to cardboard boxes everywhere. The shrimp was incredibly unpleasant. The texture was mushy and the taste fell flat on the palate. Don't even get me started on the flavorless liquid that passes for a Remoulade sauce around here. Steeling my taste buds, I moved on to the Beach Burger. Surprisingly, it was tasty, albeit tiny and very reminiscent of the 80s Wendy ad campaign, “Where's the Beef?” I mean this was all bun, but at least the bun wasn't stale and the burger was adequate. I turned my attention to the last item up for review, the Kahakai Taco with Grouper. Grouper is one of my favorite fish in the sea and is very hard to screw up. I mean, as long as you don't overcook it and turn it into a show tongue, you can't go wrong. I take that back. While the grouper was fine and dandy and all a grouper should be, the tortilla, like the above Po' Boy bread was about a week past it's freshness date. It was monstrously stale. Sadly, the only good item here is the slaw. I doubt it's made fresh in the back, but even food service slaw can be tasty with the proper seasoning. The Big Boy says, “Come and see the historic Cocoa Beach Pier, but if you plan on eating at Pier 62 Oceanfront Restaurant & Bar, I would suggest you eat before you arrive and maybe enjoy a few cocktails there while taking in the glorious sunset.”

Great view of the ocean , server (Brandon was excellent, blackened grouper had a bland taste while the coleslaw was amazing ( more spice than th grouper). I requested a SPICY Bloody Mary but I couldn’t taste any spice whatsoever! Overall a good experience!

Food was disappointing. Crispy calamari rings were pale, undercooked and NOT crispy. Lobster roll was cold and bland. Antipasti salad was ok. Odd that Italian salad had Greek olives in it. Just plain disappointing. A friend highly recommended this place too.

We were pleasantly surprised to see it newly renovated, with fresh, modern and beachy feel!!! Fantastic views surrounding the restaurant add to the overall pleasant ambiance. Tina, our server, welcomed us with a smile and a happy, positive attitude. My husband enjoyed his grouper while watching surfers. My sashimi arrived beautifully arranged, looking fresh and delicious! It was very fresh and tasty! I did not expect such a treat! The only suggestion would be to provide ceramic soy sauce dish instead of plastic...and offer hot sake. There have a nice selection of Sake, but not hot. Drinks were delicious ?. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this newly renovated restaurant with awesome views, and very friendly staff.

We ate here twice -- once on the pier at the bar and once inside. They had great entrees and desserts but limited side options. We had a great experience at the bar altogether. When we went back to eat inside in the other hand, it was a less pleasant experience. When we ordered drinks the waitress took our IDs and walked to the back with them to scan -- just not a great protocol on a customer service end. No one wants their IDs carried away from them for several minutes. Also, it was storming over the water and beautiful outside but the inside of the restaurant had extremely bright lighting (that would have been uncomfortable in any weather) so we couldn't enjoy it. We asked the waitress about it and she said they couldn't adjust the lighting which was disappointing. Overall decent experience. Food was good but at those prices it should be. Service could have been better.

Horrible service, appetizers came out with food management said that they would recook food but came out cold the second time. Had to go to bar to get drinks slow service. Bad management, for $120 it wasn't worth it!
