Chippies Boba Tea, in Port St John - Very bad business ethics, can't trust and basically calling me a liar when they screwed up my order. I just went in tonight and ordered a simple boba tea for my wife. I ordered a passion fruit and while looking at the menu for a tropical bubbles, I said it aloud. The guy said "We have that." but didn't confirm my request nor did he say they don't have tropical bubbles otherwise I would have just told him to make it strawberry bubbles. So obviously he didn't hear my request correctly nor did he confirm it. I paid the $6 and even gave a $2 tip and went on my way. I gave it to my wife and she took one sip and gagged on it and said it has chocolate bubbles. I drove back with it and told them it wasn't what I ordered. The individual in charge asked the guy who took my order if he had confirmed my request and he lied and told her yes. But if he had confirmed my order with me and said chocolate, I would have corrected him. Instead, she told me I would have to pay for a new one. Why would I drive out of my way to their business, order something I didn't want (and give them a tip), drive home just to turn around and go back and lie to return the drink for what I actually wanted? So in my eyes basically they took my $8 and told me F-you. All they had to do was remake my order as I had requested. I wasn't asking for my money back nor a free drink. Just wanted what I had ordered, nothing more. I am very strong about supporting local small businesses but this one I cannot nor will I recommend it to anyone anymore. To think I was just telling my family about it the other day. I'll make sure they know not to trust them and to let their friends know as well. I know it was just $8 and I'll recover from that but it is the principle of their business ethics and the interaction with its employees.

I’ve never been to a boba shop that offered a cotton candy boba tea! So yummy! Also had so many cute stickers, pins & croc charms for very decent prices. I couldn’t resist

I love the brown sugar boba tea I tried from Chippies Boba Tea & Frozen Yogurt. The barista is nice and friendly. I tried the boba tea mochi which tastes great.
My wife and I just stopped in after we left Kennedy Space Center and we gotta say this place is amazing! The owners were very friendly and super knowledgeable of what they had available! They explained how it all works and pointed us in the right direction! We loved the atmosphere they set and we will definitely be coming back!!
