I wanted some BBQ and always try to support the local community. After walking in and I took a look around the place, enough said. It was then I decided I would still try the food, but it would be to go. An older man came flying out from around the corner with masks in his hand, telling my wife and I we had to put on a mask or leave.Now you know why I could not rate the food, my wife and I just walked out the door.

We recently moved to Rockledge, and we were meaning to try this place, because, often, the little, locally-owned, off-the-beaten-path places like this are great. Definitely needed a place to go for BBQ besides the cheaper, local chain places and the hyper-expensive, snooty BBQ joints. This place fits the bill. Now, right up front...you need to call ahead, because the gentleman running this place doesn't offer in-house dining or walk-in service right now due to the pandemic; you call ahead and then drive-thru to pick it up. This works because you're on the cusp of the Rockledge-Cocoa city lines, and the neighborhood is, well, a little questionable. The food, to me, is better than the chains and maybe slightly below the really expensive places from where you can get BBQ. I was surprised that they offer fried okra, ribs, and great pulled pork. And mac-and-cheese. Give Mister a try! The food is very tasty and a good value for the price.

Best food in the whole world. I really mean that! I have never been disappointed and the owner is amazing. The food and drinks are amazing. It’s the only place left that allows me to think of the good ol days. It brings back the past and allows for good memories. Name any restaurant and this will beat it. Better than McDonald’s all the way to Benihana. It’s all about the whole deal not just food. Excellent customer service. I will forever appreciate this restaurant and thanks Mr.BBQ for all the great times ?

Do you miss the good old days? This place is like going into the past. You have to wear a mask to go in, but it's worth it. It tastes like old-school home cooking. Don't be in a hurry. Order your food , sit down and relax. Soon you will be eating home cooking. You can't beat that!
Great flavor, nice owner given a second chance I would have ordered something other than the rib sandwich which was still on the rib bones, pretty hard to start eating without something silverware to get the bones cut out and be able to have the sandwich.

I eat here often and I love it. The rib dinner is may favorite, and the smothered porkchops are a close second. As far as sides, his collard greens are delicious, the garlic bread is always on point and "Mrs BBQ" makes a refreshing pinaepple lemonade! A must try!!

Back in the day it was good! But now it is absolutely horrible! Please don’t waste your money and time going to this place. The old timer that Owns the place is very rude and unprofessional. I can handle that. But I can’t handle is rudeness and being served bad food. The bake beans and Mac and cheese was so awful. No one could eat them. They taste and look like they were leftovers from a few days ago. The rib bones appear to look like they came from riblets. Everything was just terrible
