Took 10 minutes for waitress to notice us because she was chatting up two guys at the bar. They were the only ones there besides us. It took another 10 minutes to get us, not a menu, but a piece of paper with what food they had hand written in notes that we had to decipher. After another 10 minutes, we finally stood up to leave, and then the waitress finally came up to us to take our order, after we stood up to leave.

Cute spot, appears much smaller than it is. Lot's of seating options and beautiful view. My son was feeling picky, but the patient waitress managed to make him just what he wanted! Food was wonderful, my son gave it a 10/10, definitely recommended!

You MUST visit this hidden gem in Cocoa!!! Our server Bree and other girls there were amazing, the food had great flavor, large portions, the scallop skewers were huge! Texas petal sauce was good too. The place looks deceptively small and easy to drive past but is huge inside and has a separate tiki bar on waterway. Go to Old Florida grill and oyster house ASAP!!!

Every time we have tried to eat at this restaurant in the past 6-9 months, they are out of half the menu. If you gonna be a restaurant, here's a novel idea, buy food to cook. I can understand being out of one thing, supply issues, but literally they are out of half the menu every time we have tried to order. we're done. Never again. Been going there for over 15 years now but since the current owner took over they have gone to sh*t. I do not recommend this place. And I haven't even mentioned all their repeated health code violations.

Worst experience ever! Waitress was so scattered brain not sure she even knew her name! They were out of oysters during oyster season, they were out of lobster- took 1 hr for a kids burger - they crab legs came out ice cold with ice still inside when we shucked- the bathrooms were beyond disgusting- I've been in cleaner port-a- potties - DO NOT BOTHER! A 1 star is too high!

Well where to begin….first only 2 servers- next outside BRs are worse than most porta pottys- next took over an hour to get a kids cheese burger- than longer for my husband and my dinners- they did not bring his gumbo- they were out of lobster- oysters- I mean isn’t this a seafood place?? Abs Oysters are now in season “month ends I R” - than the crab legs came out still frozen…OMG - I’m just glad we’re visiting and would not depend on this place to be our “go to place” - this place sucks

Awful- Awful We had a group of 6, they brought us 5 silverware, and 5 menus. No problem- we can share. I ordered chicken wings as an app, and a shrimp/scallop meal. Everyone got their food, except me. After everyone was done eating, they brought my dinner and appetizer out. I got the appetizer LAST! Menu said hush puppies included with meal, nobody got hush puppies. Fries said they were beer battered, they weren’t. When asked the waitress she said oh we have to change our menu. She was trying hard, but they had her running the bar and waiting tables down by water. My coleslaw was too slimy to eat. I brought my food home- chicken wings were over cooked, and were supposed to be garlic Parmesan, they had some bottled chopped garlic barely on them. The scallops were delicious, and shrimp was good, but like I said everyone finished their meal, then I got mine! I was first to order. There are better places to eat at. I will not be back here

The food was Meh. I got the J*** grilled fish salad. They put processed shredded cheese all over it! Once I dug the fish out from the cheese the fish was excellent. The salad was good, but seriously, too much cheese! The view is good here and they have good drinks. Not a lot of top shelf liquors to choose from. Otherwise its a good place to hang out and have some drinks and food.

Fun place to hang out and watch a rocket launch or just relax next to the river. We enjoyed Adam Sean's music. Don't expect health food. Great waitress.

because of great reviews and fried oysters on the menu, we decided to give it a try. very disappointed! online menu is outdated. oyster basket online was 14.99. menu price 21.99!! i asked sara our server, who was very nice, said she’d have to tell the owner. i asked if she would honor the online price but she said she couldn’t do that. i got a grilled chicken chef salad. pretty good. the fried oysters were ok. too much breading. needless to say this is probably our first and last trip here.

Last night we went to Old Florida Grill & Oyster House on US 1 in Port St John. We used to love this place for the casual Florida dining experience. Good food and good live music. I'm not sure what's happening there but the last few times we went the food is mediocre, at best. Perhaps the chef changed in the last year or so, but nothing is good anymore. The quality of the food is way down and the prices went way up. Restrooms are super smelly and the parking lot resembles an off road ATV trail. Full of pot holes and deep trenches. We decided that this was the last time we gave them our money. We no longer recommend eating there. It's ok for drinks down by the River to watch a launch or just vibe.

The jalapeño bottle caps were amazing (try them with the cocktail sauce, it was magical). The waitstaff was phenomenal, and I do mean, phenomenal. Ten stars for the service alone! The fish and chips were good, I'd rate it 8/10. The reason why I gave three stars instead of five is because the bathroom was pretty bad - and did not have air conditioning - so it was a pretty unhappy experience. The rest of the restaurant was mediocre clean at best and the exterior was a wee bit scuzzy, complete with the sign out front dangling crooked from the building. It was a bit off-putting and made me question the cleanliness of the kitchen. Total cost with tax before tip: $43.74 here's what we got: jalapeño bottle caps (large size) - 1 order fish & chips dinners - 2 dinners fountain sodas - two
