Let me tell you about my 1st (and last) experience at the Sunset grill. Tonight some friends of ours invited us to a place they frequent 2-3 times a week. They had nothing but good things to say about this place. From food, live music, employees everything. Now I have been to the casino before many times for concerts etc. But never to the Sunset Grill. Tonight there were 6 of us and considering the amount of people you can imagine the LARGE bill associated with it. Appetizers, food and drinks. Specifically the drink needs to be brought up. One ordered a beer (yuenling) I ordered a bucket of beers (4 large caronas) one ordered a carona beer, one ordered a rum&diet one ordered vodka & ginger ale and the last ordered Bud light. Please pay attention to the amount of beer and liquor each ordered. Amongst the meal we consumed our drinks and ordered others one had 3 beers 1 had 3 rum& diets one had 2 vodka ginger one had 2 beers and I ordered a second bucket of beers totaling 8 larger caronas. The manager Alisha in the middle of this all comes up to tell the one drinking Rum& diet the bar rule is 3 drinks so he is cut off. The friends who are regulars went to their favorite bartender and got him another drink.. I mean 3 drinks per bar right ( a rule they have never herd of before..and they are there A LOT) now I must point out sure it was busy it's Saturday night. But at the end of the day 3 drinks for 1 and 8 beers for me. The moment never dawned on me that why can't he have more than 3 but I can have 8 we were not loud, we were not disruptive, we were not disrespectful we kept to ourselves and our friendly conversation. No one said anything. Then one of our friends decided to pay the bill. And of course once the very large bill was paid the Sunset Grill decided they had a problem. And called Ryan the Casio. Security to escort us off the property and ban us from the property for HAVING TOO MANY DRINKS now at this point I had not finished my 2nd bucket of beers and I picked up the 2 in opened beers and while having them in my hand tried to explain the absurdness of this so called rule. Now if we were being disrespectful disruptive or whatever I get it. But we were not we were just enjoying the music with friends. Even though we pointed out the inconsistent rule 3 drinks for one and 8 for the other and how the 3 was the problem they still stood their ground and escorted us out. Something they WOULDN'T have done had we not paid the bill. This is ABSOLUTELY 100% THE WORST I have ever been treated at any venue in my entire life And the world needs to know it. Late dinner choice, Good Choice! Food was good with slightly different variations, all Tasty. Our Server, Josh?, made the Dinner Enjoyably and Successful. He was Very Attentive and Accommodating! Reasonably Priced and Good Food! Recommended!

My girlfriends and I love to sit at the bar. So when my friends and I sat down at this gorgeous outside restaurant we were extremely confused as to why our service was so bad. It wasn’t busy at all but both bartenders still took at least 10 mins just to offer us a menu. The older one was super nice! Only the drinks took a long time to get to us. We ordered our food with the one that has short hair SHE WAS SO RUDE! I don’t know if she was having a bad day or if the girls just don’t work well together. I don’t really know but hands down really bad service over all. The curly haired manager was really nice and sweet about it really stuck up for bartenders but in the end she did end up giving us a 25% discount but I feel like that wasn’t enough since we mostly drank.

My husband and I go there often and lately we've been seeing this supervisor over at the bar with long curly hair and a nice smile. SHE IS AMAZING! The moment we told her our food was taking too long and that people who were coming in after us were getting there food before us. She was soooo nice she practically ran to the kitchen and immediately came out with our food FRESH! She apologized profusely and even gave us a round of drinks on the house. Never have I been treating with such kindness at Sunset Grill.

The service is so awful. The bartenders are rude and inattentive. We have tried a few times and each time the experience is horrible. They never clean the bar or games after someone leaves.

So, I am here a lot but because I love the food the ambient and being able to sit outside and avoid the smoke. The new manager Ori is great accommodates me all the time and Christina the bartender that's pretty much the full-time one you can count on out is awesome and can get your drinks and your food prompto!!! Kevin is a great addition as well he's from Duffy's and Coconut Creek is so lucky to have him
Vegetarian options: Tropical salad, boiled shrimp, paho tacos, (not sure if I spelled it right) mahi sandwich and bites, impossible burger, sushi bowl all delicious and the sushi rolls all delicious our server has always been Surely she is wonderful always got a smile and friendly attitude staff is great but she is our preference. It’s also smoke free
Our servers name was Justin and he is the best server we have had in years. Very attentive, very nice, split the bill for a large table and was so pleasant about it.Wheelchair accessibility: Our friends had a knee scooter and it was very easy to get to the table
I crave the food here nearly almost every day! Best honey bbq wings, hands down!! Enjoy the game with the best meal, you won’t regret it!

There is no better place to come after a long day at work especially when Amelia is the bartender taken care of you. You can forget about everything and just enjoy your night and it's like when your feet hit the floor in the morning a new day.

i visited sunset grill maybe last week friday i’ll say and i was greeted by josner at that host stand very friendly and polite young man he told me my server was going to be Ashley! Ashley was fantastic! this restaurant needs more people like Ashley she was amazing she just knew so much about the menu what to suggest. I enjoy my experience but the only thing i could say i had a problem with was a short lady who i think is a manager there when she speaks she speaks in a loud voice there is no need to speak that loud in a restaurant where people is trying to enjoy a meal but other than that i enjoyed me experience!

I have to make this the main point of my review, the service was amazing. Juan was attentive, friendly and gave us a great dining experience, he was one of the best servers I’ve ve ever had. I had the jerk wings and I’m glad I did, they were top notch. I will be going back again to try some other items.
