The food is okay, pricey and my last visit I asked for what was the fastest- a salada, took 20 min. They are super nice and friendly but maybe is understaffed. Never go if you are in a hurry. $20 for this Gyro.

I've been to Cafe Demetrio multiple times and I genuinely believe it has some of the best coffee in Miami. The cappuccinos are delicious (they give you a little chocolate heart in the middle!) and the atmosphere is super darling. Their service is also really solid - the line can look intimidating if you get there around 9 when they open, but it moves quickly. I haven't tried any of their food yet, but my friend got a sandwich that she absolutely loved. I think my only complaint is that it isn't open earlier. Seriously worth a visit if you are in the Gables.

Definitely wouldn’t go back. The food wasn’t anything special. We ordered the French toast croissandwich, the sliders, the eggs Benedict, and the Belgium monte cristo. Drinks ordered were the cafe Leo, the cinnamon toast latte and the cacao latte. I wouldn’t recommend any of the dishes we ordered, they weren’t bad they just weren’t anything noteworthy. The dishes with French toast were soggy. The coffees were okay. The iced cinnamon latte was probably the better one from the three ordered. There aren’t enough tables, thus it’s awkward to order and hope a table opens up. I will say all the servers were friendly. It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t good either. It’s just kind of there.

Been there a bunch of times, their signature coffee is the best coffee you’ll ever have. We always get the salmon eggs benedict, amazing! They have great sandwiches and other breakfast options. Not sure if they still have it on weekends, but their bottomless mimosas were delicious.

Cafe Demetrio offers a charming vintage ambiance that sets the stage for a delightful dining experience. Ordering at the register adds to the casual yet efficient vibe of the cafe. We opted for items from the brunch menu, and I must say, the French toast sliders were a delicious departure from the ordinary, accompanied by a perfectly crafted cold caramel latte. My mom opted for the classic French toast with a side of bacon and a hot mocha latte. While she enjoyed her meal, she noted that it could have been warmer. Although she chose not to return it due to hunger, it's something to keep in mind. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the cleanliness of the restaurant, including the bathrooms, was commendable. Despite the minor temperature issue, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and cherished the quick date with my mama at Cafe Demetrio. A solid four-star experience overall.

I usually come here for business meetings. Their coffee is great. I think I've had them all. I wish they had tea lattes though, like chai or matcha.Love that they have WiFi. Just a very chill cafe to work at or have meetings and lunches.I have not ate here yet. But I've heard the food is decent.Order taker is nice. They deliver the food and coffee to you. You have to get up to get the water.

My favorite place to chill, meet someone for coffee or a meal. It's got an old world charm to it that never changes and can't be beat. The food and service always great. The staff are friendly and professional.. it's my Cheers Bar,. Same feel.

I love the ambiance of this beautiful coffee shop whether you’re sitting outside or inside. The prices are reasonable and the food and the coffee is great. The service is warm and fast and the presentation of the coffee and the food is five stars. My only qualm about this place is that I wish there was little bit more variety in the menu when it comes to teas etc

Food was good but not great, at this price point it should have been much better. Eggs Benedict on a Bagel with Salmon and Capers was really good... BUT the Demetrio's Omelet had very little contents... NOT WORTH THE PRICE. Coffee was OK. Sitting outside was nice, but berries from the tree fell multiple times on us and our food.
