It is difficult to find an extraordinary Cuban restaurant in Miami, but Paki's is just plain ordinary in a town where very good is the standard. They do have COVID-friendly outdoor seating, the garlic sauce is great, the sangria is served without being overwhelmed by ice, but the positives ended there. Their mariquitas were good -- but only after reheating them to crisp them up when we got home. The media noche sandwich less than crunchy, and the steak salteado flavorful, but tough. There better examples of Miami Cuban without paying Paki's higher-than-ordinary prices,

While most recent generation Cubans may not know what the original Cuban Cuisine was like, you will find it here in this Cuban Restaurant located on Coral Way. The restaurant has come of age but their food still brings Cuban traditional cuisine with great taste. I have been visiting this restaurant for years. Not much has changed decoration wise. But dont let the old looks of the restaurant fool you, their food is top notch. I recommend you to try their "Croquetas" as starters. If you are not in a hurry ask them to make them fresh. My favorite choice of main dish is Deep Fried Pork Cubes served with Congri rice (mixture of white rice mixed with black beans) and salad. Another good choice are their Cuban sandwiches which are huge and tasty, well known throughout the Miami area.

We have been trying for days to get a batida de mango (mango milkshake)...so we settled for mamey. Good shake....more milk based. Excellent tequeños (cheese sticks) with tomato based dipping sauce and sliced and toated bread slathered with butter and garlic.

Don't be fooled. While the place looks old and would probably need a serious facelift the food is excellent and delicious. Portions are very generous, including the freshly pressed orange juice that I recommend you have accompany your eatery.

It’s unfortunate this place just doesn’t care. Their sandwich’s are cold despite being put in a press. I had to send it back twice and the cheese still wasn’t melted. Save your money.

This place has better pancakes than any dennys or ihop for breakfast! must have the breakfast with eggs pancakes Cuban toast and coffee. For lunch any entrée will do and for dinner the special Cuban sandwich will freak you out
