These empanadas were so good. And they were at the airport. We had beef, spicy beef, chicken, ham and cheese, guava banana, dulce del luche, and chocolate hazelnut. The spicy beef was the best along with the dulce de luche. We really enjoyed these. 4 of us ate 10. Really awesome place run by very nice people.

Worst empanadas ever. I got three empanadas at Half Moon airport of Miami, They were dry and didn’t taste well. I bought three and I just eat one, the other two are in the trash.

I had tried this place years ago and they had a special sauce the first time and it was amazing. Went a few times after and they never had it and I never went back. Decided to try agaIn the other day and still no sauce haha, and after a while of talking with the counter girl to get over the language barrier I managed to order 1 of each square pie. They were all pretty good can't even lie. Where is the secret sauce !?!?

Half moon Empanadas was a tasty and cheap diversion away from all the regular airport fare. I ordered a spinach empanada which was $5 and filled me up for an entire 3 hour flight. Definitely a unique, delicious, and good value meal in comparison to spending $3 on two hard boiled eggs or $10 for a small sandwich elsewhere in the airport.

I needed to order empanadas for a school party. I am a busy mom and I take the path of least resistance. I have seen Half Moon in passing. I ordered online which was fast and easy. I know nothing about empanadas. When I went to pick up my order it wasn't ready. To big deal...I figured the ham the cheese empanandas needed to be heated on the spot. I took the food to the party and my goodness they were a HIT. Everyone was asking me where I bought my empanadas!!! I bought 4 dozen and they were gone in 30 minutes. I would definitely buy from here again. Staff was super friendly too.

Only place I've tried better empanadas from besides this place is harry empanadas all the way in west Kendall. But half moon is sooooo flavorful and baked so there's no grease dripping anywhere. They are fully plumped empanadas that are filled with meat n chicken, quality ingredients.
