We tried a couple of items. The dining room is nicely designed, but it doesn’t fit the cuisine in my opinion. It makes it feel inauthentic. Its overpriced for what it is. At least the items we ordered. Something about it just doesn’t work for me. It’s like a nice pair of shoes that don’t feel comfortable. I don’t think I would go back. The server was nice, and maybe dinner service feels different, but my day time visit left much to be desired. The space and the concept just don’t work for me. It’s tacky. I would recommend visiting some other establishment in the area for lunch.

We loved the decor and ambiance. Service was average and food delicious. They don't get much business during lunch hours, we were 1 of 2 tables there.Lamb chops just melt in your mouth and kebab is very good with touch of spice. Got complementary chocolate/walnut baklava....OMG, that was a bomb. I wouldn't dare to say it's better than the regular one, but....you should try it!

First time having dinner, the food was amazing. We ordered the signature dish of the restaurant, the lamb prepared in a pot, absolutely delicious. We also ordered the special lamb shank. Great as well. Appetizers were great. The owners came to the table to make sure everything was ok, and in a nice gesture ,they offered the desert on the house. Delicious. The cocktails could use some improvement. Very on the sweet side, not too creative in the mixology. We'll be back for the food and service . Recommended.

Prepare your taste buds for an epic journey to the heart of culinary delight at The Levant! Nestled in the vibrant Coral Gables cityscape, this gem of a restaurant promises an unforgettable dining experience that tantalizes all the senses.Let's dive right into the libations! The cocktails here are nothing short of spectacular. From classics with a twist to inventive concoctions that push the boundaries of mixology, every sip is a revelation. The mixologist behind the bar is a true artisan, crafting each drink with precision and flair, leaving you craving for more. Now, onto the appetizers! The Cheese Sagnaki is a mouthwatering symphony of flavors that dance on your palate. The gooey cheese, kissed by the flames, is perfectly paired with a tangy dipping sauce that elevates it to new heights of indulgence. It's a true testament to the culinary prowess of The Levant's kitchen. But wait, the main course steals the show! The lamb plates are a carnivore's dream come true. Tender, succulent cuts of lamb, cooked to perfection and served with a side of aromatic rice and grilled vegetables. Each bite is a revelation, a testament to the chef's dedication to excellence. Now, let's talk about the service. Burcu, our server, was an absolute delight. Her warmth and attentiveness made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. She guided us through the menu with expert knowledge, ensuring that every dish was a perfect match for our tastes. And let's not forget the live music! A talented couple serenaded us with soulful melodies, adding an extra layer of charm to an already enchanting evening. To top it all off, the convenience of easy paid parking nearby makes The Levant the perfect destination for a night out on the town.In conclusion, The Levant is more than just a restaurant; it's a culinary oasis where every dish tells a story, and every moment is savored. Whether you're a food enthusiast, a cocktail connoisseur, or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, The Levant is sure to exceed your expectations.

The food was great, but way too expensive for the portions, the pictures of the food look big for what it actually is, you have to eat something before you get there because the plates are very small, the environment is nice, and it looks better on social media than in person, the service is fantastic and the music was number #1 the wine was also unbelievably expensive, I guess you pay for the location more than anything, I don't think I'm coming back

Loudest music ever! They had some musicians and a super loud speaker that blasted it so loud it was annoying. Sitting upstairs is untenable. Try to get a quiet table. It's ideal if you don't want to talk with your dining companions. That said, service was great. Food was good we had a salad, zaatar and one of the lamb-stew cooked in pottery with bread. It was awesome. One cocktail was $20.. good but a bit much.

At Levant in Coral Gables, chosen for my wife's birthday celebration, we encountered a mix of impressions. The atmosphere on arrival set a promising tone for the evening, with interesting decorations and lighting that suggested an ideal spot for a romantic date. We chose to sit on the second floor, looking forward to some people-watching from this vantage point.During our visit, we had a chance to meet one of the owners. It was a nice interaction, though not particularly standout in the context of the whole experience. However, the service from our waitress didn't quite match the welcoming ambiance. Her serious demeanor and apparent annoyance with our questions—of which there were few—somewhat marred the atmosphere. The pricing at Levant felt steep, reflecting more on the ambiance than the food itself. My wife’s entrée, a clay pot filled with vegetables, was priced at $40.00, which seemed excessive. This brought our total bill to $170.00 for two people, including just one drink each, a sum that felt disproportionate to the overall dining experience. My choice of beef kabobs left something to be desired. Presented simply as beef atop a piece of bread, it didn’t live up to expectations, especially considering the price. While the live music added a pleasant background, it couldn’t quite elevate our overall experience, leaving us feeling that something was lacking.Although Levant in Coral Gables boasts a fantastic atmosphere and live music, the aspects of service and value for money diminished what could have been a more satisfying birthday celebration experience.

Outstanding food. Superb lamb chops, their fresh pita bread is addictive! We come regularly and it’s always a delicious feast. Their interior design is cool and creative. Must haves: pistachio kebab, hummus, lamb chops, and knafe! 10/10

Beautiful restaurant! Date night was amazing ♥️ loved the live music & the ambiance. the service was wonderful and everyone was so kind! The food and drinks were absolutely delicious ? the drinks are a little pricey in my opinion but they do have a happy hour available.

Food is fine, nothing remarkable. Nice service and unique vibe, but I don't feel drawn to go back especially for the price of each dish and cocktail. I think the dishes should have sides or more pizazz if you're going to charge $28+ per plate. The Levant salad was $19 and it was one of the less memorable things I've tried lately. Perhaps some of their other food is better, but really hard to want to try anything when they are charging $15 for hummus (!?!?!?!) , $18 for dolma and $17 for feta.

We had lunch for 4 adults. Starting with the most important thing-food is really good. 1 skewer of either chicken and lamb kebab is plenty for lunch. The eggplant and lamb pot dish is excellent! Space is actually quite nice with a great mural on the wall-make sure to sit so that you can see it-great to play a spotting game. Music was a bit too loud for our liking. Our waitress was very nice but hard to hear with an energetic music playing. The bill was a bit more than we anticipated spending for lunch. Overall, really good Mediterranean food, at premium pricing. Would consider coming again.

By far the best Mediterranean food in South Florida. The place is amazing, the ambience is so fun and welcoming. The food is undescribable, it is really so amazing. The owner has done such an amazing job with it and he is so welcoming, caring, and want you to have the best experience. And his staff exudes that as well. Love this restaurant.
