Better than chipotle! Love the salsa/hot sauce bar. Warm, healthy options... and one of the few places on campus open after 5pm. Vegan/vegetarian options possible upon request.

I have eaten at many Limes in Miami and this is by far the best. I suggest the 8th street burrito or Tijuana tacos. For salsas go with suave.

This is my go to place on campus for churros and a good old southwest chicken salad. The music in this resturant is phenomenal. And when the pandemic wasn't a problem, it is a great lunch spot.

I was a little put off by the reviews but in need of lunch while on campus over the weekend. I'm a fan of Lime in general and had been to this location before but it had been a couple of years. When all is said and done, the food was pretty good, didn't take too long, and the staff was just fine. I ordered a steak quesadilla and my husband got a burrito. It took about 15 minutes but it was busy and that's more or less what I'd expect for something to be made fresh. One of my favorite parts of Lime has always been the salsa and hot sauce bar. I tried a few different salsas and found them to be lacking seasoning and a little spice, but maybe I didn't try the right one. The hot sauce selection made up for it! When it came time to go, it was hard to get the attention of the staff to figure out what I was supposed to do with my dirty tray. I can definitely see where some of the frustration comes from. All that aside, it's a decent option if you need a bite while at UM. It's located in the UC next to the pool. There's seating inside but you can also try to snag a glider or table outside on the expansive patio!

Good chips and pretty good food, but alwful service and SO SLOW. It took 20 minutes to get my quesadilla when there were only 2 orders in front of me. They were also sending out orders that ordered after me and I could see employees behind the counter joking around, on their phones, and eating. Wasnt the first time this location was extremely slow.

The workers here are disgusting solely because of their attitudes. I've been treated beyond poorly twice and I will probably never go back due to the workers. The first time was when I ordered through Grubhub and didn't know I had to hand them the yellow slip so they proceeded to talk about me and say "these f***ers really just think they can grab s*** and just start walking out." The second time was when my chips were burnt so I asked if there was any chance I could get new ones. The guy say yeah sure but then turned around and told the lady in the back. After he told her, all the workers decided to talk about me while I was waiting for the chips and say how "these bit**** really think they getting new sh** when they complain" and "how entitled customers think they are." Honestly don't understand how any of them still have their jobs after all of this, and it doesn't seem like this is just happening to me. I don't understand why you would work in a place where you have to serve customers, and when you are asked to serve them you have a problem with it and make a big fuss. People are paying money for their food the least you could do is make it without complaining. Food is 5/10 so it's not even worth it.

I am a student at UM and I love Lime. The food is good and more importantly - decently priced. The quesadilla is my go to. My one complaint is that it usually takes longer than antciapted to get the food.

I can think of few times I've experienced as bad of customer service as this on-campus Lime location. Disappointing to see other reviews have made this clear and management hasn't changed a thing. Employees at the register always seem like they'd like to be anywhere else than at work and barely listen to customers. I've often received the wrong food despite getting my order, and employees at the register are too busy texting or not caring to confirm my order. Seriously, trying to confirm your order at the register gets a "uh-huh" as the employee continues to text on their phone. Music is way way too loud, to the point where it's difficult to hold a conversation and eating alone inside is miserable. And tables are rarely clean. Food is typical to Lime, decent 3-star Mexican food if your order is correct. 8th St Burrito is pretty good. Save yourself some of the customer service issues and order on Tapingo and get your meal to go (fyi, this requires waiting at a counter rather than receiving a number for table service). I hope management realizes they'd be even busier if these issues were fixed or UM demands these changes.

Food is good but the cashier was having a private phone conversation while she was taking orders. Line backed up and she didn't seem to care. Poor management.
